What would you guys offer for this build, need help valuing the pc. I have a pc with: -Ryzen 5 3600 -RX 580 Nitro+ 4gb -16gb ddr4 3000mhz ram -240gb ssd -AB350M mobo -1TB M.2 ssd I would reckon around £400?

how do i figure out if itspunched down to the CAT5?

is it an ethernet cable plugin? im at the top of the house but the router is at the bottom. If so can i just plug an ethernet cable from that into my pc for faster connection?

Hi guys, I'm having a problem w my custom, 1yr old pc. The other day, I went to turn my pc on and the led lights on the fans turned on, and the fans themselves span, although the GPU fans turn on, then off in short intervals. When I turn on the pc, the monitor recognises something, as the amber idle light turns green, but then goes back to amber after a minute(therefore not cable issue). This is what I've tried so far: 1- reset CMOS, did nothing 2- drained the capacitors, by leaving the pc for 1 hour disconnect from power, then holding the power on button for 2 mins, did nothing 3- I bought a new CMOS battery, had no different affect So guys at this point idk what the problem is, any help is appreciated!

What's the proper way to drain the capacitors? I believe that might be the problem

It's 1 year old, it has worked fine, but I have had this problem before about 6months ago but I can't remember how I fixed it lmao I hate myself

When I turn on my pc, my monitor recognises its been turned on as the led light goes from amber(idle) to green(on). However the screen stays black and the normal startup doesn't happen. What ive tried so far: 1- reset CMOS, nothing happened 2- drain capacitors, turned off pc, left for 1hr, held on button for 2 mins, to drain them, tried to turn pc on again, didn't work Any help is appreciated

im guessing the EXE is the setup file, it open up the drivers for AMD, i currnetly have 20.2.2, which is the latest, so i think im ok, i dont need to download them.

i just updated to 5.0 with them in zip file format, it seems fine atm, however i will follow your instructions for the penultimate update, thankyou v much

One last question, when updating to 5.4 it says to download drivers, the driver's come in a zip file, should I extract them or leave them be?

Ok, I'm currently updating to 4.6 and it's working luckily, hopefully I will be able to incrementally update all the way to 5.4 haha

and the BIO update zip file has a folder inside, with the file inside that one

i installed the drivers, they are in a zip folder, i dont know wether to unzip them or not. Regarding the BIOS upadte files, it can in a zip folder, a single file was inside. I have tried using the zip, unzipping, and even just the file on the USB stick, i have tried a new usb too

are you sure its safe with my current ryzen 3 1200 cpu as it says ASRock do NOT recommend updating this BIOS if Pinnacle, Raven or Summit Ridge CPU is being used on your system. *

I click on instant flash, it comes up with the new bios file name, then says no image file detected.

im on 4.5 trying to go to 5.4 to get support for the ryzen 5 3600. I have attempted the BIOS update, but when clicking on instant flash, it says image file not found.

yes the usb is fat32
