That is the exact point Louis Rossman makes in his video; the "authorized man" is still not above anyone else despite hired by Apple. The hiring pool from which Apple gets their repairs folks is no different than any other pool.

Some things ignore ping time some don’t.  A lot of games don’t.  Is there possibly a ping time issue when this happens?

Inform your ISP. Since you're using their equipment and all of your devices are affected, it's likely an issue on their end.

Out of curiousity, do you have any IoT gadgets that connect to your network wirelessly? They don’t usually send many packets of data for telemetry, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some were sending large chunks here and there. Try monitoring the network with GlassWire to make sure it’s not one of your own devices that is causing the problem.

Interpolation will be present if you do so. If you scale it down to 1080p it will look akin to native resolution.

It's like that prick who hoarded all the hand sanitizer just to try to scalp it online, then got banned by eBay and Amazon and got guilt tripped into giving it away. (Just to clarify, I don't look at the RTX 3080 as being on an equal level of importance as an actual life-saving item.

I was one of the people this morning fighting at the chance to get an RTX 3080. Had I lost out honestly to other people who wanted to buy the card to game on, I could accept that and move on. But what pisses me off so much is that they're just the shittiest lot of unapologetic sweaty fucks who resorted to using unfair and scummy tactics to get their hands on way too many cards, just to resell them at exorbitant prices. I hope more people fuck with them on eBay, they deserve only that.

2080ti and greater performance for $500 or your region's equivalent is a legitimate reason to get one.

At 1440p, thats totally fine. As games start using more threads it will not be enough, but right now your totally fine. Likely fine for the next 1-2 years.

Remember, even if there is some level of bottleneck going on, your still talking about a 3080 for 1440p..... It will be plenty fine

    MegaDave91 reacted to Moonzy in 5Ghz 7700K still adequate for 3080 @ 1440p HRR?
yeah, but i would think it'll be fine for 60fps in most games, consistently above 100 might be a bit tough if the game is more CPU heavy

and whether the GPU will be fully utilised depends on graphical settings, i guess

5GHz 7700K is still an adequate gaming CPU these days. See the gamers nexus review of the 3300X, still scales well all the way up to the 2080 ti pretty well.
