  1. yah no Id still do it you can undervolt cards to make them use less power and itll still be faster at the same power draw look it up on youtube its called undervolting
  2. Yah so get like a 3050 or a 1070 or a 2060 or something from amd there are lower power usage cards that are leagues better than the 1050ti lmao wasnt talking about flag ships
  3. Then I would upgrade if I was you would def be worth you can play a lot more games!
  4. Yes I would upgrade if I was you 1050ti is pretty slow you should at least have a 1060 or something better IMO. Only if you can afford it if not then well thats your answer.
  5. Could you point me in the direction of where you see the milestones for folding? Would greatly appreciate it!
  6. I missed the sign up date and everything but I was wondering if I could still get a badge for trying? If not I totally get it it's on me for not keeping up with this stuff! May the winds blow ever in your favor!
  7. Once you use 2k you can't go back to 1080p. I won't be upgrading my set up for a while diamond hands bois.
  8. I mean I updated got a program for 5 bucks and now my windows looks like windows 7 I dont understand why people don't like windows 11. No one who uses windows 11 actually uses windows 11 like bruh come on.
  9. What do you consider bare minimum? I have 11gbs and vram and I never really use it at all in the 3 years of using the pc. Also its been heavy use I don't have a life.....
  10. Yah that's probably the issue. For what ever reason though my wifi card doesnt have this option I'm wondering if I need to up date something on it but finding drivers online for this exact card proved tricky.
  11. Yes and I couldn't change it in the routers settings panel cuz I guess cox doesn't allow that. It shows up and the SSID but 2
  12. I have a cox home router. I believe it is the CommScope TG4482. I have a internal wifi adapter which is the PCE-AC56 2x2 802.11ac Wifi AC1300 PCIe Adapter. When I connect to the 5ghz wifi it only connects at 2.4ghz. It will connect at 5ghz if I spam turn my wifi card on and off. I was wondering if there was a better way to force the connection at 5ghz. If something doesnt makes sense feel free to ask for clarification. Thank you if you can shed some light on this infuriating problem!
  13. Hey you shouldn't use user benchmark. They are known for being biased to intel and hating amd. I would use something else that is actually unbiased.
  14. I mean you still get really good fps IMO. That card is still great.
  15. Are you watching a 4k video? I know when I watch a 4k 60 fps video my 1080ti video decode is at 45% so.
  16. yes there is a performance difference if you can use the second fan. I don't know the exact difference but there is a reason Noctua gives you the second fan. I'm sure you could look up a YouTube video to give you the numbers behind it.
  17. Id also agree I have one and a buddy of mine has one. Everyone that deals with noctua becomes a fan boy when installing their product. Its actually amazing how well the cooler works on my 3950x. Mind you I don't even have both fans running on the cooler and it still beats every other AIO I've used. Both AIO's were from corsair one was a 240mm other was a 140mm. Also air cooling is easier to fix if it ever breaks.
  18. Yah It's not going to run well on your current specs at all. You defiantly need more ram at the least. I have a 1080ti and 32gbs and the game barely runs at 45 in the city at 1080p medium. Mind you this was 2 years ago when I played. I can only assume that the game hasn't gotten that much better in terms of optimization.
  19. Yah but people also never want to point out the fact that you are paying with your time as well. Time is the most valuable thing someone can have so that should be said. Yes I understand that giving your time to something doesnt feed anyone but again people really love to over look that.
  20. How would I go about doing that or is it to complicated? I mean I am really good at looking things up so if you could point me in the right direction that would be awesome!
  21. Hi was wondering if anyone on this forum knows whether or not if sharing your public ip address is dangerous. The reason why I'm asking is because I set up a lot of servers and people connect using my public IP. So I was just wondering if I am exposing myself to any danger or if because its called "public IP" then its fine because well anyone should be able to look it up. Thanks in advice if you feel like informing me on this topic.
