  2. Picture (literally) perfect. That's quite a shrinkage. My brain thought naturally if a 2060 can fit in there, then that PSU will just snug in fine. But that puts it quite into perspective.
  3. Damnit, well I guess it's time for a new PSU then. The issue with a new psu is that the case costs 100+$/£/€, and on top of that a new PSU, which will most likely cost 80-100$/£/€. 200 just for a new/better case is not really awesome. What do you mean by frankenstein in terms of Case/PCs? Do you mean the DIY PSU mount question?
  4. Thanks, about SFX and O11 MINI. Are we talking about my psu not fitting physically at all or perhaps a janky "just diy leave it hanging/not mounted" type of possibility?
  5. Hey so I was fed up with my current thermaltake case and wnted to get something more accessible and developed/designed by actual engineers. The Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini was suggested and looking at it makes me melt. Sadly, if I'm not mistaken, my current PSU (component list bottom) will cause problems, isn't it? I am still quite confused about PSU form factors, SFX, Mini SFX etc... Maybe you might even find other components that won't fit. Desired Case: Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini white Components: r5 1600 with stock cooler, 2060 asus, msi b350 pc mate, corsair cx 550M
  6. How high is that chance though. If it were a custom built pc then yeah, prebuilts though, perhaps some guy got lazy and wanted to get rid of a broken card to some unknown innocent John Doe or John Doe / OP did a mistake when handling the Pc. Perhaps sadly DOA.
  7. The peak of that CPU is 140 to 180W, DAMN. 180+~350(gpu max, though up it to 400 for good measure) and we are talking about a wattage of 580-600-620W... You defintely have some room left though if you add 5-15W à 1 drive, then some other stuff, perhaps even led, keyboard, mainboard, fans, cpu fan, etc... You're starting to get closer and closer to 700W at peak, and then it's just a matter of 50-80W. Go for it, you've a decent enough buffer even in a worst-case scenario at peak, but remember to upgrade in the (distant) future.

  9. Hey I posted a questuon regarding cooling a long time ago / recently for a lack of a better word and perhaps laziness. Here's the issue: My case has a front panel where air is sucked in fron bottom and dispersed out from the top fan. The top cover only allows air to exit from a small upper right side. This setup seems somewhat better for me weirdly enough since I don't feel the heat from the PC anymore (old setup front in, back out / hexacomb near mainboard io shield). Sadly now I realize that my air flow setup might be a complete disaster since the case feels very hot to the touch and generelly doesn't seem to suck in enough cool air perhaps. Perhaps hot air just can't exit through the holes at the top, I don't know. I have a spare fan from artic lying around, should I add it to back as an intake or exhaust? Or add it in the front as an intake (not really a mounting point, it has to be screwed loosely otherwise the fan motor housing scratches the panel) <--- Perhaps that's why the front intake may not be able to suck in enough air. But then again, cool air is at the bottom of a room / floor while hot air rises. Thus it makes sense to perhaps add a second fan to the front, even if loosely. Any idea?

  11. Yes but I was looking for a plugin or something of sorts. The perspective and different types of zombies needed to make the image not look like a copy pasta of 1 or 3 front facing images is beyond my scope. Honestly now that I think of it, the only plausible option is blender, given perspective issues and most importantly procedual generation of zombies.
  12. The issue is I have no idea how to add zombies/edit photos like that, and wanted to make sure I am on the right track. Perhaps someone would suggest a certain software or even a plugin / zombie template / maybe even a guide.
  13. Hey I wasnt sure which forum fits best so I chose this one in hopes of reaching the most fitting minded people. Context: I have a bunch of high megapixel (48) and raw pictures in which I want to add lots of zombies. We are talking about pictures from, for example, the balcony or bridge down to empty areas, thanks to the lockdowns, normally crowded places are completely empty very often, so they are perfect pictures. Knowledge beginner (skip): I have bare knowledge of image and video editing, so thats ms paint, gimp often to doodle around and remove unnecessary watermarks, edited with premier pro before but we are talking about cutting at best, used very minimally (and loved) After Effects and some blender work. Goal: (One example) The image is shot from a low altitude civilian bridge pointing north&east and down of a semi-long road in an urban environment. My desire is to add lots of zombies on the road and side walks next to walls / a few buildings, mainly the road. The advantage is the distance, perspective and low elevation from the ground, which makes it easier to add lots of zombies for disregard in individual quality. Question: Which software is best recommended in order to reach the goal? Regard the knwowledge level, so photoshop would be way off my learning plate (I dont want to spend a week learning ps). Is an image editing software even the right thought? Blender/an animation software would actually be better fitting due to perspective don't you think?
  14. Which country, I've already packed my stuff. Wanna know how much I pay per kwh, having the most profitable mining ratio? 30+ cents per kwh. Even if I break all barriers of physics to achieve the most insane overclock in the history of gpu's, it wouldn't be profitable at all.
  15. Report, at 2560 I reached a maximum of 110 herz (possibly more, though I moved @ 5 hz per step-up). 115hz on all resolutions (2560-1920) resulted in black screen or artifacts&frame-skipping. Guess my hopes were way too high from a super-fancy gaming monitor. 10 extra hz are not worth it (+ there are some other issues such as my monitor osd displaying 55hz when setting the graphics card/display refreshrate through windows to 110hz. It really felt slow and stuttery so I suppose osd was correct). All in all, I will stay with stock 100hz. Thanks for helping anyway, it was still educational.
  16. No idea how you wizard can achieve 33mh/s, mine barely goes beyond 27mh/s. How much do you pay per kilowatt-hour?
  17. I edited my reply, you are right. Now, what confuses me is that some say 120hz is max on dp1.2 at 3440x1440p while others come with some type of calculations of 1.2dp bandwith etc... I suppose the correct answer is 100hz max on dp1.2 Some sites ("polish the console") suggest "So, can hdmi do 144hz? from the above explanation you can use HDMI 2.0 to display 144Hz at 1440p" <--- 2560x1440. so can I just drop the res to 2560 and have 120 hz (as @Fasauceomesaid that 10-15[ish] is doable / a good oc)?
  18. Both the monitor (accord. spec link) and the 2060 (accord. nvidia) support DisplayPort 1.4(a). 1.4 supports up to 144Hz. EDIT: Sorry you are right the monitor supports only up to 1.2

Context: Actual means realistic noticeable damages, not theoretical assumptions, because everyone can say that any overclock will kill your electronics etc... yet we don't fear-monger when OCing CPU&RAM etc... So no assumptions or "perhaps" please, actual expierenced replies. I remember back in the day people were scared to oc cpus and gpus etc... Thinking somethign was gonna break or die etc... Nowadays, OCing Cpus or GPUs is as sinple and safe as clicking a button in a GUI.   23. WOW how did you oc your UW to 215??? I am stuck at default 100, would love to see 144.
