Yes, aesthetics. The trouble is there are 3 M.2 slots and I have 2 SSDs, so I guess I would have to leave the shield that comes with the MB off.

Had my eyes on the z790 Carbon WiFi for a while now but have a problem when it comes to the M.2 shields. Just got this and it's not going to fit unless I leave a shield off but it's not so simple. I'm wondering which of the z790 range is worth getting vs z690, I'm getting the 12900k and thought I should probably go for DDR5. Also, the PC is not for gaming as I'm mainly using Unreal Engine 5 and Blender.

MSI Gaming Edge AC purchased years ago, now I have a second M.2 and it seems to only have 1 screw which is being used by the top slot. Any way I can get more screws?

Having trouble deciding which... MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI or MSI MPG Z790 CARBON WIFI Getting an i9 12900k and already have an RTX 3060ti. Also to use Corsair Vengeance (2x32GB) 6000MHz CL40.

I will eventually get an i9 12900k + z790 Mobo but at the moment don't want to upgrade all components. Am pondering if it would be worth getting a 3060Ti Amazon to replace my 2070s however running it on a z390 MB as it's PCIE 3.0 and the 3060 is 4.0. The problem could be Blender 3.6 or a broken GPU, it keeps overloading and crashes and not sure how else to test it without getting another GPU. Any suggestions?

Wondering if anyone has / had an Ergotron LX Arm sag problem at the part where it swivels up / down? When moving it back and forth due to the sag becomes un-level and although there are lots of adjustments I can't find one for this part.

I got the Steelseries Arctis 1 and I am really surprised, not sure if the Mic is working properly might need more info on that but the quality is really good. It feels like a new car seat, might get some leather cups but the sound is great. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a "Gaming" Headset.

Been looking for a "Headset" instead of aditional Mic because it seems less complicated, however not sure what to get. I suppose the aim is best quality for both Mic & Headphones at the lowest price. I could get a Bluetooth dongle or something specific to the Xbox (Series S) but not really wanting to keep recharging a wireless headset, so wired is the only option pluss it brings the price down a bit. If anyone has experience with wired Headsets I would like to know any recomandations.

Watched a video, guy uses Y splitter with one for Mic & one for Headphones I thnk into the controller. I have Skullcandy Hesh 3 which doesn't have a Mic wired into a DAC to Xbox's HDMI and somehow want to have a Mic for gaming coms? Would the Y splitter still work through the DAC etc?

Trying to find a Gigabyte AORUS z390 Elite but at a bit of a loss. Wondering though if the newer gen motherboards are backward compatible, so instead go for one that can support the i9 9900k and later upgrade it?

Just got my PC back from the Police after wrongful confiscation and it's not working. Apart from the backplate doesn't align with all the back ports and Wifi antenna is bent it seems as if it boots but there is no display signal, also the debug lights stay on for CPU / DRAM / VGA and BOOT. Wondering how I can test each component? In other words can I put the CPU etc onto another Motherboard? I will try resetting the BIOS tomorrow but it's not looking good. i9 9900k MSI z390 Gaming Edge AC
