  1. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/4VYhK4 I am currently in the process of planning and designing a new pc for a mate of mine. He mostly plays Minecraft, a little bit of Fortnite and might be looking into getting into my graphic intensive games. Knowing this I have opted to go with the Ryzen 5 3400G as it will run well enough for what he wants currently and he can easily add a graphics card when he wants to move onto more graphic intensive games. He wont be looking for more than 60fps as his monitor is 60hz as well as doesn't want to go over a budget of around $800-900. Can any improvements be added to this parts list? any compatibility errors I don't know about? (motherboard and cpu are compatible btw) I'm open to any suggestions :)
  2. Okay so I got home from school to find my moniters not getting signal from my gpu. I checked to see if my fans were spinning and they weant. I did some initial checks, turned it off and on again, swapped the imputs around and stuff before going to work. I found that the fans would spin until I get passed the bios so they get power just no signal. Its like the gpu goes "OH okay I can turn off now im not needed". Ive now pulled and replaced nearly every chord and re plugged it. This has happened before and I fixed it by pulling the GPU out and putting it back in and then it worked. Any idea what is happening or what to do? Please and thankyou Gpu is an MSI RX580 8gb MK1 (White) PSU is a fractual design 550w bronze
  3. Thanks guys, I’ve just seen heaps of videos saying you want 150w headroom (which would take me to 600 watts acording to an online tool (Linus recommended it in one of his videos)) I’ve already ordered the parts and I sort of freaked out. Thanks again
  4. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/9MYMKB I am using a 550w fractal design integra M. Will that be enough?
  5. It is AU dollars so that might be why, its one of the cheapest listed on pcpartpicker so if you've seen them, its not on there

  7. Thanks! The second one on the list is the one I have listed currently
  8. Could you like a 'Well cooled 580'? Cheaper is better, I'm already stretching. Is the price difference worth it to go up to 400 series?
  9. Slightly different build, I took in some of yours (and others) ideas (such as going down to a 450w PSU and getting 580). Still looking to confirm that it should all be compatible and whatnot. Found just reposting gets much faster replies (reposting cause I didn't reply to you directly so you didn't get the notification)
  10. Ahaha, thanks, bit over the top for my needs (just gaming on it) and a bit over my budget. Would rather the extra storage for homework and stuff like that. So thanks for the reply but I don't think I can afford this (No matter how hard I wish)
  11. $40 price gap, $50 for a reliable company, just don't see the worth (feel free to prove me wrong tho)
  12. Its about an extra $40, $50 for a reliable store if I want the 2600x I've decided to save for another week and get the rx580 instead, thanks for this, exactly the help I needed.
