I work in retail and I am constantly helping people out who have no idea what they are looking for or even know how electronic devices work. So one day a woman comes up to me and asks for a charger for her phone. I politely ask what phone she has so that I can select the proper one (Apple 30 pin, lighting or micro/mini usb). She says she doesn't know and shows me her phone, I see that it takes a micro usb charger. So I grab one for her, my store only carries one brand of chargers, and tell her this will charge her phone in the same way as her original one would. The brand of chargers have a cut out in the packaging so you can actually plug it into your phone before buying it, which the woman does. She looks at her phone and looks up at me and says, "I don't think it's working..." I look at her and tell her "ma'am, the charger needs to be plugged into an outlet to charge your phone." Another question I am frequently asked is, "Hi, I need the cable for my TV (or computer)." It's really frustrating and I have to ask them what kind of cable they need and sometimes people will continue to say "the one for my TV..." like I'm stupid or I should be able to read their minds. It's usually an HDMI cable or Coaxial but sometimes its component or even RCA/Optical.

Thanks for all the help Najuno, I did find out that the max is +87mV with Afterburner on my 970. I really want to get into the 11k range of scores with the standard Firestrike benchmark, I'd be happy if I make it there.

Did you not read my post above...
The 970 has 4GB of vram... NOT 3.5GB.

I want to thank everyone for your input. I finally purchased the WRT1900AC router. I couldn't pass up a deal today. I was able to purchase the router for US$120.98 including tax. Next I plan on grabbing the motorola surfboard 6121. I should have a nice setup that will last me a good long while.

Thanks for the info! I believe I need a DOCSIS 3.0 modem, my "advertised" speed is 50Mbps from Comcast. It's what they call their Blast internet in my area.
What I think I will do is pair the WRT1900AC with the Arris/Motorola SBG6121. Hopefully this is a good combination for around $300.
