  1. What temps do you guys get after a while of gaming?
  2. these are my temps after 2.5 hours of battlefield V ultra settings 1440p.
  3. Sweet these are the max temps I usually get whilst gaming, at fairly low fan curves (low rpm)
  4. Hi are these temps good? Spec: 9700k 2080 ti cooler: H100i V2 The 1.5 hours was spent playing battlefield 5 so fairly intensive on both cpu and GPU especially at ultra settings 1440p Thanks!
  5. Sweet, thanks for the reply. I was just unsure as it seems 50/50 on what people say online. Sticking with the single cable for a few days while I order 2 (8 pin) PCiE cables online as the provided ones with the psu are daisy chained so looks awful with those 2 x 6+2 pin connections unplugged.
  6. Hey everyone, I’m needing some advice regarding my power delivery to my 2080 Ti, should I be using ONE PCiE cable with 2 x 6+2 pins to plug into the card or should I use TWO cables and use 1 x 6+2 PCiE adapters from each cable? I read that using one power power cable with the 2 x 6+2 pins doesn’t provide enough power compared to using two of the cables but only 1 x 6+2 connector on each of the cables?
  7. Damn. What would my best course of action be then? Is there such a thing as a usb 2.0 splitter that would allow me to connect both to the single USB port on the mobo?
  8. Hi everyone, I bought the Corsair h100i v2 AIO and to use the Lighting on the pump head it requires a usb 2.0 port on the motherboard. I only have one of these which is already occupied. I was wondering if it would be possible to use the COM port for this instead? It has the same 4+5 pin connection. Any help is much appreciated!
  9. Cool, only annoying thing with ASUS prime is over here they’re on about a months backorder
  10. Regarding the MSI tomahawk when I checked compatability on pcpartpicker it said that the m.2 on it shared bandwidth with a sata port? I’m only planning on using the 500gb 970 evo and 2tb barracuda atm but will I be able to add more storage?
  11. Awesome mate. Thanks so much for your help here! Also would you say the MSI z390 tomahawk is good or would ASUS Z390 prime be better?
  12. I was going to get 8700k but in the UK the newer 9700k is only £50 more. Does having hyper threading really make a huge difference as I’ve looked at benchmarks and the 9700k seems out outperform the 8700k? Although I was thinking of the 8086k as another option? Oh perfect and I assume 6+2 PCIe connector is the same as 8 pin? Lol. So with 2 of these cables plugged into seperate slots on the PSU then into the GPU that will work?
  13. Hi everyone I’m planning on building a new 2080ti build but need help. My chosen components are as follows: NZXT H500i I7 9700k Gigabyte 2080ti Gaming OC Corsair H100i V2 500gb 970 EVO 2TB Barracuda 3.5” HDD 16gb Corsair DDR4 Vengance RGB PRO 3200mhz MSI MAG Z390 TOMAHAWK motherboard I need help with compatibility and with choosing a PSU. I see the 2080ti requires 2 x 8 pin PCiE connection; I cant seem to find PSU that comes with this cable nor can I seem to find a seperate cable to buy online. Does the 2080ti come with one included? The motherboard has an 8+4 pin CPU slot for power, again I cant seem to find a PSU with said cable nor one seperate online? I know this is only really needed for over locking but I’d like to have the option. Are all these components compatible and will fit inside the h500i? Will the PSU come with all required cables or will I need to buy some seperate? and finally which size PSU will I need? Minimum for 2080ti seems to be 650W but will this be enough to power all the other components I have chosen with head room for OC the GPU and CPU? This is stressing me out lol as I cant seem to find any info on this. Help will be unbelievably appreciated. Thank you all!!!
