Hi, I finnaly saved enough money so i can upgrade the rest of my system (keeping the 1070), my doubt now is: i go for the z390( a nice model from any brand)+i7 9700k+16 GB 2666MHz memory combo or the x570 (MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS) + 3700x + 16 GB 3200MHz memory (PSU, cpu cooler and storages will be the same for both), both are really close in price here in brasil (would say the ryzen combo is 30 dollars cheaper). I main game and aiming for competitive games like CSGO over 240fps, sometimes i do some 3d modelling in inventor and SolidWorks too.

Hi, im buying a new system (problably a 3700x or 9700k), and the only thing im keeping from the current system is the HD and SSD, my doubt is if i connect those 2 in the new system will i be able to just boot normally or i have to reinstall windows and stuff? This is the first time i do a upgrade like these, since my first PC build is the current one,so it was a clean install, but i never really swapped CPU+MOBO+RAM before keeping the same SSD and HDD

Its in presale in the only site that sells noctua here in brasil , available in 80 days only and the price the same as the D15,as i said to the other guy, if in order to OC the cpu i need to buy these more expensive air coolers, i will, but do u think the u12s is able to mantain the 9600k at 5GHZ around 1.4V? And if not , just going for a 240 mm rad WC wouldn`t be better than the D15 (H100i pro and the D15 are the same price here)

I was looking into the dark rock series, but its really hard to find them here in brazil, will the u12s be ok on overclocking the i5 to like 5ghz at 1.4v?

Those coolers are on another price point than the NH-u12s,so is it really necessary to go for them? cant the u12s support the OC? My budget is a bit tight, but if necessary,si i can OC, i will buy those more expensive cpu coolers

hi, im building a new PC and I plan on getting a i5 9600k. Im thinking of going air cooling in this new PC, so for a good OC (around 5.00 - 5.2GHz) which cooler is good to it, i was looking into the Noctua NH-U12S, is it a good choice?

I did the same thing hahaha, and no regrets also, too much stuttering with the i5, the i7 was a worthy upgrade

I have the current PC of the signature and was thinking of finally going to ddr4 to have a more consistance frametime on competitive games like csgo for 144+ fps. For that i would have to change the cpu, mobo, memory and my psu (not really, but mine is already 4+ years old, so i was thinking of changing). I will have the money and time to do that in July, so the real question is: what cpu to go? both i7 9700k and 8700k would be tight on the budget along side a Z chipset mobo,so i would have to keep my 2014 corsair H60 WC that I think it works on 1151 socket (OC would be restricted), the i5 9600k would give me the budget to go to a 240mm AIO WC and OC way more than the base clock and maybe at the time ryzen 3000 will be out and it could be a possibility?

Hi guys, i putted a wrong BIOS setting and my PC didnt worked anymore (turned on, no display or BIOS, and turned off), so i reseted the CMOS, but now It does turn on, makes the normal beep and It doesnt turn off anymore, but there is no display, so my theory is: The reset made my BIOS back to te version F6(factory version) which does not support the 4790(launched after the 4th gen), so i need to use another CPU of 4th gen to update It to F8. Whats do u guys think? If that correct would the PC boot but no vídeo appear with a 4790 on a poder BIOS???

I tried all options: High performance with 144,120,100 Hz and adaptive mode with 144 Hz and the adaptive is the only one that went back to normal

Both actually,it happens when im just using the internet and even when the PC is just at the desktop doing nothing except with msi afterburner on, i searched the web for it and ive seen this is common at high refresh rates, mine is a 144Hz monitor maybe this is what causes it?

I scan for virus every week, and in background i have steam,msi afterburner and razer synapse

Hi guys, i have the PC of the signature with TT SmarT 750w 80+ bronze that i bought in the end of 2014, all real reviews i saw of this PSU say its great, a 9/10 only losing due to the lack of modular cables and 50C Power Rating, all i wanna know is it gonna be enough to still hold this system with its OC on memory and on GPU (+60 core +200 memory clock) for a good time or i should save money and change it in the middle to the end of the year?

Hi guys, I have 16 GB of these RAM:https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231429 and i was adventuring overclocking it in the last couple of months and i tried two ways: -1866 MHz at 10-10-10-27 1.6V -2133 MHz at 10-11-10-27 1.66V I was having no problems until i bought the witcher3 on steam winter sale and started playing. It is delivering the expected of my system (Avg 90 fps on highest presets with avg 60% usage of CPU and 99% of GPU), the thing is one time or another the game just closes, no error messages or nothing and today, in one specific battle inside a cave with various animations, my GPU usage dropped to 50%, dropping my fps to around 50, im not worried because it really looked like a specific game part (since it never happened before) bad optimized, but could it be related to my OC on the ram draining more power due to elevating the standard 1.5V to 1.66V? Also, i did a AIDA64 stability test right after OCing in december and one yesterday pushing CPU and RAM and no crashes and/or errors in general with good temps. So, are these problems of the game or is it better to remove/change the OC on the memory? I will leave all the pics related below. PS: Is my power supply fine for my config with the OC? I read very good and very bad things about this model, but it passed on all real tests (with proper equipment) i see on the internet
