  1. Hi, im currently using a ryzen 3700x and its reaching temps that i think are too high, even for the new ryzen and all the vcore thing, during cinebench reaches 84, which is ok for a air cooler, but in aida 64 the cpu gets max temps of 94C, even though the average hits like 85C, is it a cpu thing or cooling? Currently using the noctua u14s and already reinstalled it with new thermal paste application, only 1 to 2C improvement, one thing i notice is after i removed the wraith prism i had, some of the thermal paste went to the side of the cpu, maybe i didnt cleaned enough on the sides and some thermal paste there could be blocking thermals? Quite unlikely, but idk, all tests show ryzen has high temps, but not that much, and how do i clean the sides the paper towel and isopropyl alcohol seems not to reach the corners
  2. Mine is hitting up to 4,250 during games and shit, but in cinebench it reachs 4,100 max, my main problem is the same as everybody high voltages that causes high temperatures. During these tests, it reaches 84C i thought it was thermal paste/cooler, but even reapplying it still reached that. About the differences i saw in a few researches that programs reads the cpu have a offset of 20 degrees, idk why but i would trust ryzen master
  3. Yeah, maybe only if i get a really good deal on the 680, but the 570 is what im aiming of the new cards
  4. I wanted the best bang for the buck, but i think i can go as high as a rx 570, as im really into playing csgo with the second rig and a other light games, i think old generation cards i will try to undercut them, a lot of people list here in brasil list for as much as they paid for the card...
  5. Hi, so i was looking into getting a gpu for my second rig, since it has a i7 4790, it will hold up to almost anything in my budget, i was looking into some used gtx 680 2G for around 90$, newer generation i only could find cards for the same price of RX 570 4G (around $160), any thoughts or reccomendations?
  6. yeah, i have the latest BIOS and memory works fine during cpu/mem stability tests
  7. Oh yeah, giving a look now on those, looks pretty good for future upgrades, think i might get the u14s now and in the future get some of those extras, thanks!!!
  8. well, i knew about the difference in sizes hahahaha, but both fit my case, i was asking performance wise, maybe ill go for the u14s, same price as the dark rock slim+shipping, and just 3$ more than u12s, only thing is that on the future i might buy a black noctua fan because those browns... hahahah thanks for the help
  9. Hmm nice, any big differences between u14s and u 12s? only 3$ difference on amazon
  10. Nah, not really that into tweaking voltage and stuff, thats why im not even looking into a big cooler, just a top quality mid range one
  11. Thanks, im looking for the top tier brands more because are the ones i know more about doing researches on the internet, but i will look up this one too and take a look at some reviews
  12. hmm, nice, do u think the u12s or dark rock slim will be enough for 3700x? Like in auto OC mode or something
  13. Regarding the high voltages, amd has launched this week a new chipset update that handles better the voltages, aplied it to my 3700x used to spike 1,49 in idle too, now its on 0,9 with spikes up to 1,3 https://www.amd.com/en/support
  14. Thinking about getting an air cooler for my new ryzen 3700x, even though wraith prism looks really nice with its RGB, it still hits high 80`s for full load with the default clocks config, so i was looking into buying a nice air cooler, but (i think) there is no need to be a big beefier one, since ryzen doesnt OC that much, i was thinking in getting one of them both in the title, what should i go? bequiet`s one looks way better, but does it loses in performance that much to the u12s or even the u14s? And is it worth to go a bit more expensive into the dark rock 4 price range for maybe just the auto OC of ryzens or even a slight manual OC?
  15. Hi, i just builted my new PC last friday(one week ago) and tuesday was the first time i was able to full game all night long with my friends, and then this problem started at CSGO: After a while playing(20-30 min) my screen goes black, the red ez debug VGA LED on my MOBO lights up and it stays like that for a minute, than the system reboots normally, what could it be? I only played CSGO and it only happened there, using the PC normally all these days it didnt happen and today i tested with MSI Kombustor for like a hour, no overheat (max temp 67C), no artifacts on its scan, nothing, but now playing csgo again and the trouble cameback, also after that i went and played 1 hour of rocket league and nothing wrong . I already tried reinstalling the drivers and different versions of it (gpu drivers), tried changing displayport cables and the port on the gpu, changing the cable from psu to gpu, and many more that i was finding on the internet, nothin changed, any suggestions of what could it be? ps: i recorded a video of it, since its ez to replicate the problem just need smoke in a corner and a lot of bullets https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdOJmRqBiCc - the red light on mobo has VGA on its side and by the manual is the ez debug vga light - no vga found/installed
  16. Yeah, im gonna do that, thanks for the help tho! wish it worked just like it worked for you

Could it be cpu and mobo related or gpu ? Should i RMA my gpu?
