  1. sent a message to the place I bought it from but i will be surprised if it gets replaced or repaired
  2. My corsair M65 RGB has been playing up for a while, disconnecting randomly from the computer or just refusing to work, now I get the message "the last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it". I have a feeling it is a bad connection either in the USB or within the mouse itself. is there anything i can do about this, I haven't had the mouse for that long and it doesn't even get much use.
  3. i don't have a dedicated sound card, its on the motherboard
  4. I have been trying to get my pc to recognise my headset for hours now. I have tried everything in this guide https://troubleshooter.xyz/wiki/fix-headphones-not-working-in-windows-10/ but nothing works, every other guide on google says the same thing. is there anything else i can try? could it be a problem on the motherboard with a connection somewhere?
  5. the files are still there for everything, they have just removed the install
  6. all my files and programmes are there. how would i know if it has been restored from a back-up?
  7. im the only one who uses my pc, parents dont care to use it
  8. i haven't got one. my steam games have uninstalled themselves, same with uplay and origin. ESO has done the same.
  9. i don't know what has happened but since last using my PC a couple of weeks ago, all my games have been removed from my HDD. everything on steam, uplay, ect... the HDD is still recognised and i can still access it is there a cause for this or just computer fuckery?
  10. how much detail is actually lost going from high/ultra down to medium? is it all the stupid tiny stuff you don't notice anyway?
  11. I am wondering if I could get 4k at a steady 60fps with my my Current Build. I am hoping so since that is why the upgraded happened in the first place. If I can, I presume a drop in the graphic quality would be in order, down to medium for most big games. I have only tried playing AC origins at 4k on the highest settings and got crazy frame drops
  12. can anyone recommend a good set of wireless headphones, something relatively cheap but good quality for the price. would be nice if they could be used on ps4 and X1 but that doesnt really matter right now.
  13. turns out it was just a loose screw in the case, took it out and the tingle went. thanks for the help though
  14. so, i built my first PC a couple of weeks ago and i have hit a slight snag.... i can feel a tingle of electricity through a thumb screw on the case. i only noticed this when i touched the screw while plugging in the HDMI, i cant figure out what would be causing this (its only when i have power going to the computer so i presume it is electrical). i havent turned on the PC since i noticed this as i dont want to fry anything, thought it would have done that anyway though. the ONLY thing i can think that is causing this is the graphics card touching the PSU, i used the stand-offs needed for the MOBO so its not that, someone has said to put rubber grommets on the stand-offs but they werent even mentioned when installing the MOBO in the guide i followed (the phenom M build on linus tech tips). if you have any idea what could be causing this, please let me know. i dont want to have a £1000 PC that i cant use
