  1. Hahaha well I guess our TV's will have to be used for the games where it isn't as significant for latency. For now I have done the same as you and resorted to my ultrawide for games where input latency matters. Anyway, thank you for the support happy mario jumping lol
  2. After checking on the PC end and having some more fiddling with the TV settings I think I have managed to sort it. I can play games on the TV in 4k and HDR after enabling it in Windows 10. Most of the delay is gone but there is still some there but I assume that is to be expected from a TV rather than a monitor. I might not have "game mode" on but at least its now playable in the way I wanted - although I am curious as to if somehow finding game mode would eliminate more latency but at this point it would be minimal anyway. Thank you for the information on Cables and for the video. Both helped me a lot. For some extra information I was using a NVIDIA GTX 1080 and even with this 4k is a pain to run. Time for an upgrade haha.
  3. I am not completely certain if I do, but I do know that in some scenarios after experimenting with some of the HDMI setting I managed to get the display to have 4K HDR working but without game mode and with slight reduced latency. However not perfect. That was with my current cable and I am fairly sure it may not be HDMI 2.0. However, I have been told by a lot of people that HDMI 2.0 and 1.0 cables are the same thing and make no difference. Although I am not sure if this is true.
  4. Hello, I have recently gotten a Sharp 4k HDR TV and linked it up with my PC. My goal was to play casual games with a controller while sitting back in bed. However, after setting up the TV and linking it with my PC I have realized that there is the usual input latency you get with some TVs, and after realizing this I looked for ways to activate game mode. The issue was that there was absolutely no clear way to do this. After referring to the manual I found that game mode is in fact a feature but with an astrix marking small text I must read. The small text says that "These settings only apply for sets with Active Motion Rates of 600 and 800". I don't understand what this means but I made the assumption that I could not see Game Mode because this display either does not support this or I must find a setting do active this. The model number for the TV is - LC40UI7552K Could anyone help explain if there is anything at all I can do to fix this? Playing the games in 4k is fine, but to active HDR and minimize the lag I can't seem to do.
