  1. I absolutely did!! And its a evo 860 m.2!! I'm using a Z370-E mobo and it has 1x m.2 socket 3 with m key that supports both SATA and pcie and the 2nd slot supports pcie! So I have the evo as window boot drive and the optane is optimizing it! Atm my current set up its i personally delidded my 8700k and I'm only using a xmp profile, not custom ocing just yet lol. it's currently sits at 28c while idle and its jumps to mid 40s and barely gets to 50 on a "full load" havent fully benchmark it yet untill I get a aio, I holding out for the new ryujin from asus to come out. So far it's getting the job done!

  6. Hey everyone! This is my first post here at LTP! All the tips and knowledge from you all have been absolutely vital for me when I wanted to start my pc build along with trouble shooting. So a couple days ago I decided to grab a Intel optane 32g drive. But after the installation and 2nd or 3nd runs of the benchmark I suddenly start freaking fantastic performance from my GPU.... it went from a cool 104.1% all the way to 135%!! I though Intel optane was mainly for speed up a HDD or SSD, but why is my GPU benefiting from adding optane? Btw adding the optane I do get incomplete results But someone people on reddit said that it was due to it's "fast write speed" could be the cause. But after updating my graphics card I get now the same 105%ish performance. Could anyone tell me what happened here?
