  1. thanks chuck Norris!!!!!!!!!!!!!...lol i went with the samsung 840 pro
  2. thats what i pretty much figured im more of a samsung guy myself just was unsure if the extra 40 was worth it
  3. im lookin to purchase two 128GB ssd to raid with the one i already have the question i have is which controllers is the best sandforce, marvell, samsung and so on... also which brands should i be looking at or staying away from and longevity of them right now i have three in mind im assuming most are going to say the samsung 840 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820249032 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147192 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227915
  4. it has mixed reviews have you had any experience with that fan controller?
  5. these are the 8 rad fans http://www.frozencpu.com/products/16920/fan-1050/Noiseblocker_NB-eLoop_B12-P_120mmx25mm_Ultra_Silent_Bionic_Blade_PWM_Fan_-_800_-_2000_RPM_Hot_Item.html
  6. i will have 8 radiator fans and three or more case fans i think the max i can put on one channel is 4 but it has to have high watts for the fans
  7. yeah something like that just the lcd to display rpm and adjust with knobs the master is only a 4 channel though
  8. some will be joined together some will be individually... i like the lamptron FC5 V2 however i think its really overpriced...
  9. Can anyone direct me to a good fan controller that has at least 6 channels and has an LCD that displays the RPM’s? (maybe even have a red color lcd) I prefer not to have a touchscreen
  10. this is the cable im talking about im assuming the 4 pin molex is there so that you dont fry the cpu header because of all the fans thats the only logical thing i can see it being used for http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13548/cab-464/Akasa_Flexa_FP5_PWM_5-Way_Splitter_-_Smart_Fan_Cable_AK-CBFA03-45.html?tl=g47c251s1325
  11. but will i be able to put 4 Pwm fan on one header if the spliter has a 4pin molex aux power
  12. Here’s my Question I have the ASUS Maximus V Formula and I have a 4 fans on my radiator that board has a 4pin CPU and a 4pin CPU OPT both of which I believe ramp up or down in unison. I can also control those two connectors with the Fan Expert 2. I’m deciding on if I should or have to get a 5.25 fan controller or I can buy a 5 to 1 PWM cable that has a 4pin Molex aux power and plug that into the CPU header and allow the MOBO to control the speeds in sync. eventually i will have 8 fans between the two radiators and plug 4 into the CPU OPT and 4 into the CPU header, if that cable will work its will help with not having anything in the 5.25 bays for a sleek look. do you think the cable route will work?
  13. have a couple questions here first is how long should i run my system for leak test? i have a spare power supply so i just use that one or will it make a difference to the seals if the system is runing a stress test? also i have the 655 its quite on all settings up to 5 when it gets to five is has a tinny/rattling sound and its not from the virations sounds like a noise if the bearing was wobbling.. it doesnt effect flow but its annoying. Right now i have my VRAM, CPU and GPU on the loop is there any benifits to running the pump on 4 or 3?
  14. before you use the fitting on the tube the two piece sit flush. when tubing is installed the two pieces are not flush anymore is that how its suppose to be?
  15. ok thank you was just wondering on that
