ASUS position that product is not product - "just how it should work". Last time i did RMA for ASUS it took me 95+ days, and i'm received NEW device with same problems. Isn't it simpler to fix fan curve and voltages, release fixed BIOS than incur costs for RMA?

I'm pretty fine with build quality of ASUS (after MSI). Razer, however - provides adequate support.

We did a lot of test, executed thousands of experiments and successfully obtained and diagnosed the issues with your products.I ask you to provide following fixes in further BIOS update: FIX fan curve to eliminate any possible stuttering lags and freezes, fans are not correctly synchronized with temps - so they "delay" while adjusting to current temps. Due limited possibilities of adjustments that can be made in BIOS - we are not able solve this problem by ourselfs. Adjust temperature thresholds: GPU and CPU to eliminate possible BiDirectional throttling triggering (BDPROCHOT). Solve problem with Nahimic service, loss of sound. It's creepy, sick problem! Hardcode undervolts for CPU and Cache voltages and GPU; - they GREATLY increase thermals and performance, but not solving fan issue, stuttering and lags - because fan curve is badly adjusted for all possible performance mods of GL-series. OMG I don't want to be rude - but how silly think I am that I didn't look up to manuals/ROG-forums/Google and etc?))))) That IS THE QUESTIONS OF THIS TOPIC - HOW-TO-ENABLE-XMP-IN-THIS-CASE Someone is mentioning XTU on enabling XMP in the Internet -

Guys, once again: - THERE IS NO OPTIONS in laptop BIOSes (MOST OF THEM) which lets you modify Vcc, multiplicators, frequencies and timings for RAM. Please check via Google (there lots of so-called MODIFIED BIOSes to let you control such settings), so lots of laptop-gaming entusiasts are using Intel XTU - it is only option for people like to modify VCC or whatever. It is ASUS LAPTOP (GL504GS aka SCAR II) - there is no ANY options to modify in UEFI. That's the reason i'm here!

Please take a look at screenshots in AIDA provided in first post. I KNOW that single vs dual chanel mode give different numbers. Jumped from 2400Mhz to 3400Mhz on desktop, results from 1-15% FPS boost according to title (some titles doesn't show any improvement in terms of speed), but some gave much more comfortable feeling.

Hi, i'm a huge of linus tech tips, I hope someone here can help me. I bought a kit of RAM (G.Skill RipJaws F4-3000C16D-16GRS), and the use XMP to execute 3000Mhz mode with relevant timings. Bad news is, its run on default settings (2400Mhz). Good news, it still faster than default SK Hynix on 2666Mhz))) I tried: - looked up at BIOS (no XMP setting AT ALL!) - tried to look at SPD via Tiphoon Burner (can't write SPD on DDR4 - so I can't dump XMP and write it as SPD) - tried other different tools on SO-DIMM motherboards - no luck either. - tried to look at XTU -> no option for RAM either. Is there any way to switch to XMP via Windows, or flash XMP dump on SPD? Thank you
