Mart1927's Achievements

  1. I see there is an overclockable dual socket lga 1366 motherboard EVGA SR-2. But it's insanely expensive.
  2. Strange, I've seen this before when overclocking an I7 960 and an I7 920 on the same board, Somehow I managed to get it to show correctly on a couple of occasions. I'd like to be able to overclock my HP Z600 but the factory motherboard doesn't have overclocking features. Which LGA 1366 Xeon's have the highest clock/turbo clocks? Screenshot is from the HP Z600 system.
  3. That was it, I simply forgot to re-enable hyperthreading after I reset bios settings. But another question, I also have a separate pc with Asus Sabertooth X58 and Xeon X5675 installed on it also. It's overclocked to 4.6 GHz, but Cinebench is showing that is clocked to 4.2 GHz? CPUz, RealTemp, and Task Manager are showing the correct clock speeds. Any Ideas?
  4. It was enabled initially after the swap cause I entered the bios to check things on first boot. But when I logged into Windows 10, task manager was reporting that it still had the Xeon X5650's installed. So I rebooted into bios and loaded setup defaults. I thought I checked to see if hyperthreading was still enabled, but I may have overlooked it. So I started to make sure all windows updates were installed and i'm still waiting for it to finish updates after over an hour. I will check again if hyperthreading is turned on when updates are through.
  5. Ok, today I swapped out my processors (Dual Socket) for Xeon X5675's. Previously I had X5650's installed. And now windows is showing 12 cores and 12 logical processors, where as with the X5650's it was reporting 12 cores and 24 logical processors. What would be the reason windows is not showing all available logical processors? PC: HP Z600 Workstation Dual Xeon Processors Windows 10 installed
