Alright, now installing this IObit uninstaller thing.

It's so strange. The installer didn't even give me an install path.

The thing is, I checked in both of those places, and it wasn't there. Usually when I install something it shows in windows menu as newly added anyawys.

I did so, and it said it finished installing, but I can't find the installed program.

the thing is, there is no exe. the download folder includes a setup and that's it. nothing pops up as installed and there isn't an exe for me to run

Hi all, I own a Predator PH315-51-78NP (i7 8750h, gtx 1060, 16gb 2666, 256gb nvme, 1tb sata ssd) and today, PredatorSense wasn't opening. it just wouldn't. So, I decided to uninstall the program and redownload it from acer's website. However, whenever I download the PredatorSense installer (and i've checked, it is for the correct device) installing it won't make the program show up, and running the setup wizard again removes it, but for me it never shows up??? Please help me fix this as manual fan control is a great nice to have.

never mind, was able to get the drive working by setting the letter of a usb stick to D.

I've checked the cables, it's connected. Unfortunately, it's not shown in task manager or file explorer. How do I perform a recovery scan?

Ok, so recently I had a 1tb hdd fail on me. Unfortunate, but yeah. However, the Epic Games Launcher was installed on that drive. It now doesn't work. Meaning, if I attempt to uninstall the Epic Games Launcher, it says Invalid Drive and does not proceed with the uninstallation. If I attempt to run the setup wizard for the Epic Games Launcher, it also says invalid drive?? How do I go about this?

update: it now isn’t showing up anymore.

actually, it might be the sata thing. a month ago i purchased a 4tb external disk usb a 3.0 and after two weeks, it started doing this. it never didn’t show up, but the not responding and slowness. however, i wrote it off as a bad drive.

laptop is being reeealy slow right now. if i try to launch crystalinfo it crashes.

my hard drive is permanently at 100% usage in task manager. could this be an issue?

yes and no. I don't care if the drive is wiped. But i do need to be able to use it. It's my game drive, so...any pictures are screenshots that I have backed up.

I've got good news and bad news. The Good: The drive shows up now. Yay! The Bad: It might as well not, because attempting to interact with anything from the drive (launching a steam game or trying to click on a picture in file explorer) sends the host program into a spiraling hole of not responding.

i’ve lifted it out. there is a thin silver paper like thing connecting it to a hole in the computer i have the acer predator helios 300 ph315-51-78np. the bottom of the ribbon has like 5 little cables of the same silver color. the ribbon is tied to something, i feel a tug if i pull at it
