You probably just broke the PCIE slot on your motherboard.
Please.
Stop.
Don't fuck up anything else.
Watch some build guides on youtube.
Just chill man.
Windows 10 doesn't have product keys. Your copy of windows is attached to your hardware (cpu & mobo) and your microsoft account.
Use a microsoft account and you will be fine with upgrading to win10 and reinstalling.
Ask him about how he uses his phone. I, for example, use my iPhone 5s one handed the majority of the time. Its form factor suits how I use it. If he uses his phone two handed most of the time then he would probably like the 6P. It also depends upon what you use your phone for (just texting/social media? youtube/netflix?) and whether or not you have a tablet.
I use wireless Xbox 360 controllers and they work great. Xbox One controllers would work too.
Keep in mind that, if you're using wireless controllers, you need a USB dongle to be able to connect to the controller(s).
It's good to at the very least have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS. Python is a great language to start with because it is very general purpose, so concepts in python can be applied to other languages easily.
Microsoft has massive marketshare for client operating systems. Servers are now going with Linux instead of Windows Server for the majority of implementations.
The Federal Trade Commission exists, so we're fine. If Nvidia gains a monopoly on the x86 graphics market, then the FTC will fix that. However, splitting up Nvidia is a potential mess due to intellectual property and how that will be split up.
Unless you care about heat output/power consumption. My 960 heats up my room pretty well. I would be burning up if I got a 380. Also, I like being able to update my drivers without hassle and without restarting.
Ubuntu is a very user friendly Linux distro, if you want to get into linux. There's nothing wrong with coding in Windows either. It depends upon the languages you use and the tools (IDE's, text editors, etc.) you pair with those languages.
