  1. Hello guys, My current build is: CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4GHz 6-Core ProcessorMotherboard: MSI - B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 MotherboardMemory: G.Skill - Aegis 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory GPU: Asus ROG Strix GTX1060 6GB I plan on buying a new display with 144Hz capability, and i need to upgrade my GPU to keep up with it. I need some advice on both. I could get an RTX2070, but do i really need it? And i'm complete noob about displays, what should i look out for, and what budget display could you recommend with decent panel, and 144hz capability. Oh, and my whole RGB set is controlled by my MSI motherboard, so an MSI GPU would be the best for looks But that's a totally secondary thing, so if you recommend other brand, it's okay.
  2. Final post: Thanks everybody for the help, it's working great :) I bought a new case for Christmas Phanteks P400S black (the last one was a mess with every kind of hole and scrathes in it, University really worn it out xD) I bought these: CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4GHz 6-Core ProcessorCPU Cooler: be quiet! - Dark Rock 4 CPU CoolerMotherboard: MSI - B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 MotherboardMemory: G.Skill - Aegis 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory It's really what I wanted out of it. I appreciate all the help, you are awesome.
  3. Hey i got every part you suggested, even the Tomahawk, wish me luck with the "renovation" of my old little pc Thanks all of you guys for your help.
  4. I just checked the local dealership and they dont have the Tomahawk MSI. B450I or M variant with Gaming and Gaming Plus editions. Any other suggestion for motherboard?
  5. So you suggest getting an AMD and not intel? Would the Ryzen 5 2600 be enough to be a "balanced" rig? Sorry for the newbie questions, but i hate speding money on worthless things, and i'm just getting into the niche of building PC
  6. Hey guys, I'm currently using an i5-4590 processor with 1333mhz kingmax ram (3x8gb) and an Asus GTX 1060 6GB. Is it possible that during gaming i get lower FPSes because of the cpu and ram? Also, i want to upgrade my PC to DDR4, and i'm thinking between i5-8600 and ryzen 7 2700x (it's around the same cost where i live). Having 2 displays i usually netflix/youtube/facebook during my gaming sessions, and i dont know if i could get better performance with the AMD. Please help, also please suggest ram for the CPU you advise. Thanks in advance, Neugo
