Nope. Not confusing enough. WiFi 6 will now have to be renamed WiFi 6.1 and 6.1E.

I won't blame the developers. Because then I'll end up blaming myself which I don't like.
And like I said, sloppy developers are a result of manufacturers chasing numbers. Not the other way around. If anything, blame the manufacturers.

There is no "bad idea", how much storage you need is entirely down to your own habits and needs.

You already made the point, if you're sick of constantly redownloading games then get more storage.

Unless it's your job to write or transcribe content, I'd say 100 wpm is pretty good. The effort vs improvement after this stage is almost negligible.

If the display in question can support its maximum resolution, refresh rate and bit depth over either connection, no, there would be no real world difference.

I have no idea what sort of solution you're asking for. You seem to have a pretty good view of the situation and your options. Don't know what anyone can do to help with your situation.

Trinopoty got a reaction from Hasoon06 in Help with dual booting Ubuntu
That's the GRUB recovery console. If you're booting from a usb drive, your drive wasn't setup properly. If you've already installed Ubuntu and booting from your hard drive, your boot files got corrupt. If it's the 2nd situation, I'd suggest doing a clean install of both Windows and Ubuntu. This issue can be fixed but takes considerable knowhow and is dependent on the exact configuration and issue.

EDIT: Unless necessary for some reason, I suggest running Ubuntu in a VM. Oracle VirtualBox is free. Can always go with VMWare if willing to buy the thing.

You shouldn't be spending your scholarship money on a gaming PC. Find out what the hardware requirements are for the software you will be using for your PhD, and buy a PC that is well suited to that. Building it for gaming as your first concern is unethical IMO, since that scholarship money could be going to someone else, who wouldn't use it so selfishly.

Trinopoty reacted to Lurick in Why do games take forever to get updates?
It has everything to do with development and validation time. If you have a formula and it arrives at a number and you want to change that formula but still have to arrive at that number you need to be careful in what you do, double check yourself, etc. to make sure you still arrive at x every time. Now imagine doing that on a much larger scale like a game where you have to check interactions and all sorts of other changes, test those changes don't break something else and if they do go back and undo the change or add more code to fix what's broke and test that and make sure that doesn't break things, and so on.

You can spend no time on validation and hope your development time is good enough but then people complain about that so you have to rework things. Keep pushing out dozens of patches to customers in a week as pure beta testers and soon you'll have nobody left playing the game.

Trinopoty got a reaction from RockSolid1106 in Java: Error-"This method must return a result of type Boolean"
Basically what it says, you need to return a value at the end of your method. In this particular case, move the "return false" statement to the end of the method.
Java is not C, you don't need to declare all your variables at the top of the method. You can declare and use a variable anywhere in your method, it's like some arcane magic.
Also, use proper formatting to make the life of everyone involved a bit easier (including yours).

That's much better than what they were before. A beefier CPU cooler is something I'd recommend. Personally, I like air coolers so the top of the line you have is a Noctua NH-D15 or a be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4. Just check to make sure they are compatible with your case as they are tall coolers. Likewise, check to make sure the AIOs fit.
