It's human nature. Whether you like it or not, you appreciate something about this person and want to help. You're a good person, mind you, but I've been in your situation and you have to rip the bandaid off and cut contact until the person has settled in life. Unless you think she'll harm herself, distance the two of you for awhile. I've absolutely been there; thinking that I've met some amazing girl and my life is going to crumble apart when/if she leaves. I'd become controlling and manipulative. I, too, suffer from anxiety due to being raised by a crazy narcissistic mother. I'm in my twenties and male, she's in her thirties and is a woman, and that is an important difference. As a woman, she is biologically and socially programmed at her age to want kids due to the complications that arise as she gets older and wants to try for kids. This often results in forced, unhappy relationships because the two people got married on the sole basis that kids were on the agenda and it had to be done SOON. My parents did this, got divorced, and have been for the majority of my life. There isn't a healthy dynamic to it no matter how you look at it. She needs to learn to be happy on her own. It's a broken record old saying, but it's absolutely true. Once you become codependent on your partner to sustain your well-being, you're beyond help if something happens to them. The right person will come along if she continues to live her life, even if she doesn't believe it. I'm a guy. I didn't believe that stuff because I've always felt that the guy has to carry the entire burden of courting a relationship along. But here I am with a fantastic girl that walked into my life at a rather complex time for both of us. Was I happier alone? Absolutely not. But does she complement my life well and make me want to be a better person for her? Absolutely. Your friend's mentality is an absolute mental drag for everybody involved. Somebody has to hit her with a bag of bricks (metaphorically, please) if she wants to find what she's looking for.

Remove the CMOS battery with the PC unplugged. Press the power button and hold it for a few seconds to make sure there's no power in your system.On your motherboard it's the little silver nickel-looking battery next to the small PCI slot.

Reset CMOS with the new RAM installed. I've had defective memory out of the box before a couple of times. It's uncommon but stuff slips through the cracks.

Samsung B-die memory. Look for 3200 MHz CAS 14 memory kits.

Would y'all know how tuning can affect startup time? My Legacy GT takes awhile to start and it's totally fine to start when it's been warmed up a little bit (say I turn the car off when filling it with gas) but in the morning it's very hard to start most of the time. Would the failing dual mass flywheel cause the hard starting? I ask about the tuning because I recently replaced a bunch of sensors and the car definitely needs to be tuned again.

DMFs in cars suck Had the clutch done in my car and felt that the clutch was slipping but I couldn't place it. Few thousand miles later and the slipping is more pronounced and it feels like I'm moving heaven and earth when I change gear. Probably gonna swap it out for a different clutch and flywheel setup.

I have an Acer 2-in-one and the only issue I ever had with the screen was it being low resolution, like 1366*768. The hinge never broke. If it bothers you just never use it in tablet mode. That Dell looks to have a decent screen, the Asus looks good too. I've had good luck with both brands but the engineering firm I worked for uses Inspirons and XPS laptops and they rarely have issues, maybe some issues with the thermal paste but that's easy enough to replace.

That Dell looks pretty good. Has two USB A ports, which is good.

I'd love to put a Rebello in an old one some day! Currently arranging with a friend's dad to help him replace the tranny in a 1975 280, so we'll see how that comes out!

Car enthusiast and Chevy sales here My favorite car is really hard to pin down. I think a ZR1 would be a nice car to have though. I really love all cars. Sports cars, supercars, SUVs, trucks, EVs - all of them. I think I have more of a sweet spot for Japanese cars though. I love Subies and old Datsuns too. No bikes though. Never been my thing.

Basically everything I've said along here assumes you have powered speakers, just by the way. I use an O2 for my JBL LSR308 and it's great, but the LSRs are powered, which is important to me for versatility.

I made an error, banana plugs do not go into RCA. Can you not get powered speakers?

DACs, without fail, always have some easy way of hooking up an amp. However, you can't power anything whatsoever off a standalone DAC. I think what you want is something like a Mayflower O2/ODAC with RCA for speakers. For speakers, get something like JBL LSR305s and those plug into the thing brain-dead easy.

DAC's are separate from an amp, which is what you'd need for your speakers.

Yep! Turo would be your best bet for renting an EV. Teslas on there are a dime a dozen and I’m sure you could find a Leaf or Bolt on there. The Bolt is actually a pretty quick car, definitely recommended!

I work for GM, so pardon if I have any bias, but I think the long-term goal is for Tesla to essentially become USB to cars; that is the charging plug that they use in their cars, which is faster and better in every way than the standard one on our Volts and Bolts, Nissan's Leaf, the plug-in Prius, etc. They'd just make a fortune off selling the supercharger female end to manufacturers of cars so that their extremely strong infrastructure charging network can be used universally. They might still make cars, but don't plan on Tesla doing that 50 years from now. We sell lots of Bolts on our lot. However, I don't think you should buy any sort of electric car bar a Tesla due to what I stated above. If you own a Bolt, you draw a 150 mile radius around your house - that's as far as you're gonna get with your car. If you own a Tesla, you can drive you and four other people from LA to NYC and only stop to see scenery you'd actually want to see and meet other cool Tesla people, only adding maybe 15 hours (number I randomly came up with) as opposed to the 2 or 3 hundred hours you'd have to add for a coast-to-coast trip in a Leaf or Bolt.
