  1. Thanks for the thoughts, I was definitely thinking of the 13" MBP (new version). Why are you not too keen on the Surface? I was looking at the air also but for the price I think it would be better to get the MBP for just a bit more.
  2. Of course I'm good with less, those 2 were just ones that I have my eyes on at the moment
  3. Gotcha, I figured it had to do with them not being very upgradeable.
  4. USofA, budget is 1k-2k, Weight? as light as possible I guess. Battery life? better than 8 hours.Want colors to be good but thats just a preference. And ram is 50/50 to be honest. Don't need MacOS, I use an iphone so If I get one it'll be my first jump into the mac os world. No other real requirements really. I picked these two because of the battery life I hear is great and they look really nice.
  5. So I'm looking at getting a laptop to use mainly for school work and light browsing. And I am having a time deciding on which one of these two to choose. I think the 13" will be good for me and I have a nice desktop for everything else I need a computer for. Thoughts are welcome and any other suggestions of laptops are welcome also. 6. A guy from one of my classes got his from software cascade I believe.
  7. Oh sweet thanks. So it looks like I can just move that front fan up like 20mm to make room for the ram so it’ll fit, looks like the fan will still have coverage over the cooler to still cool it off.
  8. I was thinking of getting the Dark Rock Pro 4 or the Noctua D15 or maybe the S variant. i have the asus x470-F board with vengeance RGB pro which are tall ram in the 1st and 3rd slot and the smaller vengeance lpx ram in the 2nd and 4th slot. would either of these coolers for with the ram in these positions or should or could I put the taller ram in the last slots to give me some clearance for the coolers? hopefully that made sense. New to computers so I’m trying to not sound too uneducated.
  9. Ok cool. I got the case from my buddy who had it laying around and he put the upgraded fans in the case from NZXT instead of the stock lower quality ones that the case comes with. So I’m sure that the 4 in the case are providing excellent airflow. I am mainly wanting to get a better cooler to stray away from any future thermal throttling that may occur down the road from OCing. So I’ll look into the dark rock along with the D15. I have the Corsair vengeance RGB ram in the board now, so with the noctua some of you said to measure the height?? Do I need to measure something for the dark rock or the silent 12?
  10. So I want to add a cooler either an air cooler like the Noctua D15, but I was considering an AIO but I would love to know any input on which one you all have experience with or just input all together with. I was looking at quite a few different ones like the Corsair h100i or like the NZXT X52 or any others that y’all like?? Itll be going in an NZXT H500 case to cool off a Ryzen 5 2600 with a 2070 that I plan to OC a bit. price is somewhat irrelevant but I was thinking around 100$-150$.
  11. This guys video is so ignorant as he wanted LTT to contact him first instead of him getting in touch with LTT to see the other side. Guy made a fool of himself by making this knee jerk reaction video.
  12. RTX 2070 which is now about 3 days into its first use.
