Yeah, never ever use auto corkage when overclocking. No reason to ever consider it. If you want the voltage to go down at idle/low usage loads, use adaptive voltage. This sets an upper limit to the voltage and uses auto like voltage rules to lower the voltage when not needed.Also, never use adaptive voltage while dialing in the oc, it can be a pain to find the right voltage needed for the oc. Use manual until you found an overclock that you like, then switch to adaptive

avoid auto voltage. set it manually. and when stressing make sure its manual vcore mode.

Only doing the core voltage and core clock is enough.

Raid with SSD is fine, as long as the SPECs are the same then you're fine.

It is not rocket science to suggest that matching SSD's would be better but hey ho... Go for it

@TheDeadGhost I am no expert in this field but you should be able to raid any ssd's together as long as they have the same memory controller, and you could possibly raid ones that don't have the same controller but they can be finiky or cause problems. Someone correct me if im wrong.

It's true It would be like playing Witcher 3 on a 750 Ti @ 4K then getting a 980 Ti and realizing the difference

Well after what feels like years, the desk is finally done & photographed for all to see
 
firstly, I think picking RED as my main colour was a mistake!
not for me, as it looks fine IRL, but I just cant get the reds to show correct on the photos, 
So any photos that have what looks like PINK or ORANGE lighting please try imagine that its RED lol
 
because of this problem I decided to take most photos with blue or white lighting on & cut down on the reds used
 
I plan on getting a new camera later so will upload some more if they look any better,
For now I have plenty of OK photos for you to look at & a youtube vid will be done over the next couple of weeks.
 
 
It will be mostly picture links now, so I will say thanks to everyone for the input during my logs & the positive attitudes that
help encourage myself & others to keep on building & posting,

This desk was designed with the hope it would look as good OFF as it would on, so it was all about shapes & natural light, 
I have very little light in my small room as you will see soon lol.
with the shapes came the problem of usability & practicality,
i tackled this in a couple of ways, not all perfect but enough to hide/store my clutter & make the desk usable for daily tasks
like gaming
 
 
I know its a bit whack compared to most desks, but I hope you like the final result even if you wouldn't want it in your living-room

So I just finished this build 4 ish months ago and am so happy. Just wanted to know what everyone thought. It's not my first building or my first water cooled build but it is my first Hard Ridged Pipe build.
Specs;
Motherboard: ASUS Hero
RAM: 32Gb's of Corsair Dominator Platinum (water-cooled)
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k OC to 4.5 GHz (water-cooledl
GPU's: SLI EVGA 980 OC to 1750MHz (water-cooled)
PCU: Corsair AX1200i (custom sleeved)
Boot Drive's: Samsung 850 Evo 240GB SSD's in raid 0
Game Drive: 4TB WD Black
General storage: 1TB WD Green
With a full custom EK water cooling loop, with 1 slim 480 Rad, 1 thick 480 Rad and 1 thick 240 Rad as well as 19 Corsair SP and AF 120mm Fans.
All contained in the Corsair 900D with Mid Plate

What I say to everyone starting off
Take all your clothes off and avoid carpet and constantly ground your self when building your PC
 
Also is it too late to cancel the parts? an I3/i5 and a 270/280 would be much better
