There are many reasons why this could happen, but only fix you can really do are limit. A fresh install of OS is probably last thing you can do to try fix the issue. If problem still occurs after OS reinstall, your best bet is to reach Asus, whom will try to help you the best way they can.

You can use tile.

If you have samsung galaxy their samsung smarttag 2 plus is also a good option.

ok, what will you recommend for £400?
A prebuild with at least 7-8gen cpu, ddr4 at least dual channel, psu750-850 with an ssd, 20dollar psu.

Only if its a proper psu. If its like a generic atx 250w Id be skeptical af as those havent been made in forever
For egpu power supply it would be a brick not a regular psu in your pc

well i dont have a choice if i want to use my computer, apparently i don't
meet the minimum requirements for windows 11 somehow too so
Yours should meet min requirement for windows 11. It is also a paranoid to think you can't use a computer without an update.
For windows 11 you might want to see if TPM 2.0 and amd-v is enabled. -

is it any good for gaming?
Not at all.

This is because you plugged cpu cooler fan to fan1 instead of cpu fan

Minimum is not relevant. Strix 1060 6G's vbios has a limit of 182w max and 156w target (meaning it will boost until it hits the power target). If this PSU is just going to power the card, it might be sufficient depending on its quality but for a complete system I would say its cutting too close (especially for low quality units)
He already said it was only for egpu which is 2 twice as for than a minimum requirement. Wouldn't you agree that it is sufficient?

so i should not buy it?
Well, if you are asking if there is a use for it sure. You can put nas, proxmox, or get your feet wet with self-hosting apps or run a personal website.

Get entire last gen setup as your system is ddr3 based there is really not enough reason to keep it.
-
Minimum power rate of 1060 6gb is 120w. So I think it is safe to say it is enough.

No this is from roughly 8-9 years ago.

It is definitely one of the weirder issues, but one thing I think you should try is to disable hardware-accelerated gpu scheduling.
You can fine this by
right click empty space on the desktop->display setting->scroll down and find "Graphics Settings"-> disable hardware-accelerated gpu scheduling

I've done it without reinstalling windows, but sooner or later I did a complete reinstall.
It is always best to go with fresh installation with hardware updates on those occasions. It seems there are a quite a few difference that makes windows unstable.- svmlegacy and Crunchy Dragon

DIY VPN Pritunl Setup Tutorial - LTT Releases - Linus Tech Tips
Ltt has a good tutorial on how you can create your own vpn.
I would personally use Zerotier per device bases. It's like a virtual switch that makes a virtual private network. There will be app per devices which you can connect it as if you are on vpn. I recommend this because regardless of the fact that that you are using your own VPC or any VPN service leaves a record, but because zerotier is still pip but provides first information to tunnel and completely hands off after, it is safer and faster.

Proxmox you can use lxc and amd gpu (both apu and igpu) to transcode. Plex with apu gpu driver image on docker (image: mauimauer/spritsail-plex). You will need plex pass.

I would buy cheapest one and wait for 5800x3d to go down.

There could be many reasons when new built computer has those issues. First thing I check is whether cooler on cpu block have installed correctly. Some manufacture put a sticker on the cpu block when not removed correctly cause thermal related issues including freezing up and or unexpected shutdown. If this is first time you are building, you will probably need to buy thermal compound before doing this. Unmount the cooler wipe out the block of thermal paste and check if there is a sticker on it. Reapply the thermal mount the cooler back on. If this is a custom PC someone built for you. You will have to run HW info to identify if your CPU is suffering from thermal issue and send them your PC back to fix it. Of course.....it being an open loop cooling, I hope it is a later.

Okay hear me out, I bought Govee after LTT sponsor last Sept. Of course, because their product line up seems fair and makes sense, I bought a couple of floor lights. They are horrible and I am not buying it ever again. They have reduced polling per api to 10,000 24hrs per api keys and Govee google home integration is nothing but trouble. I am ALWAYS getting google home "oops can't connect to the light" when I turn on it from the app. The best part is, govee regardless of the message it works!
If I had known that they would reduce api polling rate after LTT sponsor, I would have never bought this. In fact, I feel this is worse than cync situation (Don't ask me). -

Microsoft reveals why no Surface device has Thunderbolt and why you can’t upgrade your RAM
by Surur @mspoweruserApr 25, 2020 at 10:50 GMT
Simply put, because it is not secure.
Well this sucks, I was hoping that the Surface 7 and the Surface X would have type C (surface X has type C) and thunderbolt but I have to admit I did not take this into consideration.
The article is not very long but there is a snippet from the presentation that explains this.
Thoughts?
So.....Macbooks are not that secure?

Anyone had any luck finding any of these models in the UK. TCL seems to use a completely different model naming system over here. The 'LG 49UM900PUA' doesn't seem to exist anywhere, let alone the UK. I can find the Samsung.
This must be typo it is suppose to be 6900
