The monitor decides what it does and that's it. If it says the ports are inactive then so be it.

thanks for this. i will be using hwinfo from now on. Has never given it a try but it clearly is the winner here.

Do check specifically with the games that will be played on the system, I am not fully familiar with the performance of those specific games.
But when doing my research on getting a new videocard or 4K, this is what I put together from benchmarks around the web (Guru3D specifically):

Those are 4K benchmarks. So add about 25% fps for a triple 1080p setup (assuming you're going for that and not like triple 1440p/4K)
As you should be able to see, a 2070 Super is just about 60fps level in most games, 5700XT doesn't hit 60fps in the Witcher 3 (as that is quite Nvidia favoring), but does in the other title.
But that is performance today and not in two years or more. So perhaps going for a 2080 Super might pay off in the end, as it does have very nice 4K performance.

All depends on the budget and expectation.
Of course I did my own benchmarks on my PC and on 4K I was getting around 150fps in Grid 2 and Dirt 3, which admittedly are older racing games. But it just goes to show how much performance can vary.

So see my recommendations as pointers.
Pointers to looking for benchmark (4K benchmarks would be easier to find and kind of relevant for 3x1080p) and see it as a pointer for a 5700XT/2070(Super) or better.

Not nescecarily, unless you need a ton of GPU horse-power. You can connect multiple displays to one GPU.
Depends on the resolution of the screens.
Let's say this is a triple 1080p screen setup, in which case that is basically 75% the pixels of a 3840x2160 display. So you should look at 4K performance in those games, which you would likely need a 5700XT/2070 (Super) or better.

Ducky has a Belgian azerty layout, you can get them from alternate.be I think. I’m searching for one as well, a good mechanical keyboard that is. And I was thinking between Corsair and Logitech but Logitech’s azerty layout is french and not Belgian.

    Custom fan settings

I have my 3900x in a Corsair 500D, which is a mediocre case when it comes to thermals but i didn't get it for the thermal performance. I use a Corsair H150i with 6*120mm fans. With another 120mm fan in the back and two 140mm fans at the top of the case. My PSU draws power from the case, though i can only do this because my PSU is total overkill for my system.

At 4.3GHZ all core, 1.4125 volt.
Max fan speed, about 1750rpm on the 120mm fans and about 1400rpm on the 140mm fans. My CPU sits at around 78-80 degrees C. For workloads requiring fewer cores, such as gaming. I get away with the ''quiet'' setting. Lowering fan RPM to about 700, barely audible.

anything is possible. You could just move to Antarctica and that would get your cpu to under 70 degrees but if you dont want to do that just follow @Genwyn's advice.

You'd be overpaying investing that amount of money into a chair. I recently just bought this chair and have zero regrets... $59.99 Office/Gaming Chair.

The only con I can think of is that it didn't come with washers to put under the screws holding everything in place but you can always just use your own. It could also be just a little taller but I don't take off any stars off for that because I didn't expect it to be taller. Other than that, it's a basic gaming chair that is exactly what I expected it to be. For lumbar support, I just fold up a couch pillow which suffices very well. It also tilts backwards enough to stretch out my legs onto my desk and kind of lean back into it. I put another small pillow at the top to support my neck. I have zero regrets and highly recommend it. If you want to spend a little more, I recommend basically finding the same type of chair but just a little taller to support leaning back into it even more.

If you must go with a so called gaming chair that looks the part, I recommend something like these...

    Devoko Ergonomic Gaming Chair $105
    Homall Gaming Chair $98.88
    Furmax Gaming Chair $139.99

Really no reason to spend more than $100-$150 for a gaming chair. I hear the most comfortable chairs are actually the ergonomic ones that don't even look comfortable. I think I remember them having those mesh backings to them.

I have a racing chair, so I'll give you some advice. I hate calling it a 'gaming' chair because that honestly sounds cringy.

I personally like the feel of racing chairs, since I love cars myself, such as the Nissan GTR-R35, Audi R8, BMW M5 etc, so only go for a racing chair if you're in it for the long game, getting one just because it looks cool is a bad move, especially since you're willing to spend that much money just for looks.

I'd recommend you go for a simple ergonomic and supported chair instead of going for a racing chair.

BelgianNoise reacted to dizmo in Looking for a nice chair
Agreed with @Slottr Don't get a gaming chair, as 90% of them are simply car chairs added to a base with some adjustment. Racing chairs aren't made for comfort, they're made to secure you in place so you don't jostle around with the G force experienced when racing. You don't game that hard.

Look at some Herman Miller (you should be able to find sites offering open box models, or selling off unused stock from companies) and other ergonomic options.

There's a reason you see so many of these gaming chair companies popping up. The margins are huge, and they don't need to do much of any R&D or design. So get something worth a little more, and actually help your body.
