Stoinberg reacted to CapitalistVN in Processor and Motherboard suggestions
Most ITX motherboards nowadays should already have Wi-Fi built-in, so that shouldn't be a problem. I'd recommend a Core i5-8400 pair with the Asus ROG Strix B360-I, that makes a very solid combo imo.

rather than 1700x maybe you should try a 2600 ... lower 65w TDP and higher default frequencies and the refined process allows for lower voltage so your overclocking may be better and also the 2xxx has better compatibility with memory and can do higher speeds

Stoinberg reacted to ModerateSkill in Wireless repeater DHCP problem, devices can't connect
Have you tried turning it off and on again? Also if you go into your router's web panel using it's default gateway IP address. Found here:
There should be an option to view connected devices, from here you should see the access point with an IP address assigned to it (the name will likely be the model number). Here are my two access points:
Navigate to that IP address using a browser. Ensure that DHCP is disabled:
After checking this, try:
-Forgetting the access point SSID on the phone you're trying to connect with. Then reconnecting.
-Restarting the router through the web UI.
Question, is the access point running the same SSID and password as the main router (if the router has a WiFi access point).

If you even breath incorrectly in the UAE you get imprisoned.
Also, it says, "...for the purpose of committing a crime or preventing its discovery..." which I assume means you can use a VPN if you're not a criminal.

I wouldn't bother if I where you, just get 2 of the same cards. There is already plenty of tests out there on these cards.

Stoinberg reacted to Megazero in 3000$ build secondary components comparation
Oh, it's in Singapore Dollar, that explained it then.
The build is good, the PSU is a bit overkilled but I think that it's needed if you plan to upgrade to SLI later on. But if you are going to buy this in around 1-2 month then it's ok, if not and you can wait then the new technology/chip set etc is right around the corner, meaning that you can either get the new one right away or the old one will get some price drop, so it's up to you.
