  1. Actually not: The command you selected is not available with this version of Windows. Only Server products of Microsoft now. They have "Storage Spaces" instead, but as I mentioned previously - I had issues with them and almost lost my data on "Storage Spaces" with them 3 WD 1TB drives. It kinda creates a RAID 5, but still it's not actual RAID 5 rather a JBOD instead.
  2. Previously I used to have 2x Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD's in RAID 0 on this MB. Installed clean Windows and all good. I believe that the issue here is that this Windows SSD was already in use with UEFI BIOS and with RAID 5 set up it has to use IDE instead of ACHI. Need to do some more research. Guys, if You have any other suggestions, please be Welcome to write them here. Thank You.
  3. Tried upgrading all AMD drivers. RAIDEXpert Utility doesn't work on my MB. Tried All possible combinations of RAID/IDE/RAID/Legacy/UEFI - no luck. Absolutely not an option. Windows 10 doesn't support RAID 5 creation, only Windows Server 2016. Stripe volume is not an option as I had issues with it previously (thus the reason to opt for hardware RAID instead of Software). Using 3rd party applications not a preference for me when I have a MB with RAID5 Option. This is more of a "have to make it work" really and not a "let's do it easy way" kind of thing now. I'll probably do some tests with spare HDD's I have. Plan is to unplug OS SSD and replace it with empty HDD, Set everything as needed in BIOS and install fresh copy of Windows 10. But probably tomorrow, as I haven't slept for 36h already. Thank You for the help so far. P.s. BSoD shows: INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE - no error code.
  4. Checked this link You gave. My Registry is already set as in the guide.
  5. If I Undo changes - Windows boots with no issues. What Drivers are You talking about? For Windows? Like SATA drivers for MB?
  6. Checked that. Boot order set to my Samsung SSD. Windows tries to boot, but it takes longer than usual and gives me BSoD.
  7. Dear All. Please help. Couldn't find anything regarding my issue on this forum or anywhere else. I'm computer literate, but this issue drives me nuts... I've got 3 identical WD Blue 1TB drives 1 Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD Running under Samsung Magicians RAPID mode. 1 WD Blue 500GB SSD Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 AMD FX-8350 clocked at 4.5GHz under Corsair H100i Corsair Vengeance 4x 4GB 1866 DDR3 I have latest BIOS 2901 installed on my motherboard, Windows 10 Creators Edition x64 on Samsung SSD I use WD 500GB SSD for games only I'm trying to create RAID 5 out of my 3 WD Blue 1TB drives to have redundant 2TB of storage (I have Windows Server 2016 on a separate machine as NAS for storage out of 4 different 2TB drives in RAID5) In BIOS on ASUS motherboard I change SATA ports 1-4 to RAID and SATA ports 5-6 (where OS SSD and Game SSD are located) to IDE, as there is no other option, except RAID that probably not correct to set up. I use Legacy Driver for RAID controller set up in BIOS because UEFI driver for RAID doesn't allow me to enter RAID setup. I enter RAID setup with Ctrl+F and configure RAID5 by assigning all 3 visible WD 1TB drives - easy. Drives were cleaned using diskpart previously and fully operational. And here is BUT! After saving configuration and rebooting my PC cannot boot to Windows. I get BSoD and error: cannot locate boot sector (or something like that) So after that Windows tries few repairs and still unable to boot. Please advise if after setting up RAID5 on 3x 1TB drives I need to reinstall Windows from scratch or is there a way to make RAID5 work with existing SSD and OS set up with BIOS settings that I missed (I really don't want to reinstall Windows). Thank You all in advance. Dennis Cooper
  8. I have no headset, but a Sony reciever and 2 1m high speakers, simple Logitech keyboard (K120) and a Logitech G600 mouse (bought ages ago).
  9. I personally don't know why, but since 2004 I've gone from Team Blue and Team Green to fully support Team Red. Maybe I like the color. My setup is FX-8350 and R9 270 + Asus MB, SSD, bla bla bla. I Like to upgrade to Polaris, and to Zen, well what can I say, I became a Team Red fan. The only company that is fighting against 2 giants in PC world - Team Blue and Team Green. Good Luck AMD!
  10. CPU: AMD FX-8350 @ 4.4GHz RAM: 8 Gb (4x2), Corsair 1866MHz GPU: AMD R9 270 Score: 0.6
  11. Just give me one. I've been gaming on a 2 EUR Acme keyboard for faaaaar tooooo long. Please
  12. Getting SSD is essential to lower Your boot time and increace overall PC using experience. I need one to complete a PC buid for my wife. Her 640GB Samsung HDD is about 8 years old and already starting to glitch. Having a good SSD would solve the problem with everything.
  13. I want Kova for my GF (she still uses an old Logitech mouse). And a mouse pad from Roccat with huge logo that looks like 3D in black and blue. Thanx for the content!
  14. I'd probably gift my parents a camera. http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-COOLPIX-Digital-Optical-Built-In/dp/B00T85P56C/ref=zg_bs_281052_1 Just because they never had a good camera and because my little sister (she's 8) is singing, dancing and playing violin. So for my parents a good camera would be a tool to save all of those magical moment when I'm not around to help them do that.
  15. This compact PC will be great to take to a friend's place and play some Arcade games with wireless controllers like Xbox 360 from Microsoft. If I had a PC like that, that's defintly what I would use it for.
