My first instinct is pointing me to the power supply or power related error.

I would take the motherboard out of the case and put your system together on your desk/table to isolate from a short/ground.  Double check that all psu connectors are fully seated.

Maybe start as a brand new channel like short circuit or carpool critics did.  It'd have it's own staff and writers everything. Didn't Top Gear UK do the same thing with new actors?

It also might clear up some red tape serving as a base for shipping merch....... lttstore.com

Anybody have any thoughts about this?

Bitwit Kyle, Jayz2cents and Luke when he still worked for LTT all did experiments on airflow configurations and radiator placement.  I think the consensus is that it really doesn't matter that much but if you wanted to drop the temp inside your rig by 2-3 degrees C, mount your rad at the top of your case and exhaust thru it out the top.

Yup, thats it.  I actually did it twice over in the same system. Started with a 4gb dimm, 2 months later I added another, 6 months after that I added a 2x8gb kit to give me a grand total of 24gb, all Crucial Ballistix DDR4 2400.  Everything worked fine for years.

I did it and it worked for me. Just get as close as you can to your first stick. Same brand and type, same capacity, same speed and same cas latency. Should work, don't let ppl scare you out of it.

Most pc monitors with a 4k panel are between 27 and 32 inches diagonally. IMO that is too small of a screen to enjoy a proper cinematic experience. Also with a 4k panel condensed to that size, the pixels are so close together, it appears a little too sharp if that is a thing. Scenes look a little off being that sharp.  With 46"+ 4k tv's going for under $400, I don't see a reason not to watch movies in that form.

Gaming on a 4k monitor is incredibly hard on your gpu as it tries to output 30-60 fps. I find i'm most immersed in games between 100 and 144 fps and I can get that with a 1440p display with some fiddling with the quality settings. 4k on a pc doesn't make much sense to me right now.

I believe Linus and Luke both use mics clipped to the inside of their shirts. The transmitter is in their backs somewhere, I thought that was basic broadcasting practice.

From what I heard at the keynote speech today, it sounds like ryzen 3000 series 7nm chips will drop right into existing AM4 boards, albeit with a bios update.  I think getting onto the ryzen platform offers a great upgrade path down the road. Here's a sample system I whipped up on pcpartpicker.
Keep in mind that the msrp on the rtx 2060 is supposed to start at $350 when they become available to retailers.

Go b450 mobo so you don't have to mess with bios update.  Save money and get the 2700 non X and just do some mild overclocking. 700 watt psu would be sufficient. Spend $20 more on a quality ssd.

Until you drop it. SSD's have no moving head arm and thus are much more durable. They also consume less power. SSD's are basically better in every metric except price.

JammyCreedog got a reaction from Lurick in I need help if you can thanks
The motherboard is not standard Micro-ATX layout.  You would not be able to get the rear i/o to line up, nor the mobo mounting screws. The power supply is also a HP custom, meaning you can't swap in a name brand sff power supply.

I think you may need to tough it out with your current setup and save up $500 to do a brand new build from scratch.  Only pieces of this one you could re-use is the hard drive and graphics card.

I watched AMD stock back in August for a week or two. I analyzed its price over time charts looking at highs and lows etc...  I almost pulled the trigger then and it was at 9.18 a share or something like that.  I ended up not buying and chickened out. Today its at 17.49. Facepalm!

Merry Christmas to you as well. The stock heatsink has thermal paste pre-applied but a 1oz tube costs like 3 bucks or so just in case you mess up the mounting pressure or something. That ryzen 7 2700 build is very balanced, weighted slightly toward workstation use. Its not going to be a max gaming fps monster because of that gtx 1050ti but it will do for occasional recreation during downtime. Glad I could help you.

I think you would benefit from using an AMD Ryzen 7 2700 in your pc build.
Pair that cpu with a 2x16gb kit of ddr4 3200 RAM from either Gskill or Corsair.
You don't need all the features of an X470 motherboard. Go with a B450 one from Asus or MSI.
Yes, you need an ssd for your OS.  They're getting pretty cheap now. Get a 250GB from Samsung.
For mass file storage use a Seagate barracuda 2TB.
For graphics, i'd recommend a Nvidia gtx 1050ti. It's not the biggest and baddest but it works.
For case, look at the Cougar MX330. It has plenty of dust filters to keep your components clean.
Power supply should be at least 500 watts and preferably gold rated, or at least bronze. Corsair CX550M fills those requirements.
Look around for sales in the next week or two and that'll pull this under $1000.
