  1. I cannot get the Realtek audio manager to show up no matter what I do. I've reinstalled the drivers 4 times already and I've tried to update them every single time. I tried switching from AC97(So I can use the audio jacks on the back and the audio jacks on the front panel simultaneously) to HD Audio in the BIOS and I reinstalled the drivers another 3 times. Still it won't show up no matter what I do. I'm sure that I must be missing something. Any ideas on how I can resolve this issue? P.S. On my last windows install the audio manager was there and it was working. After I reinstalled windows a month ago I didn't even remember to install the Realtek drivers and I just stuck with the default windows ones. Yesterday I installed the drivers and they do show up in the device manager menu but the Realtek Audio Manager is nowhere to be seen.
  2. Is there much i can do about it ?
  3. Nvm its soldered to the other mobo.
  4. I think i have one. Let me check.
  5. I am afraid i dont have a second one. The psu should be working fine tho. Ive tried it in a different system with a x3440 and the 1060 6gb.
  6. Yes i have a keyboard plugged in. Ive tried 2 different keyboards.
  7. Just did . Same result unfortunately.
  8. I have the cooler on with thermal paste on it. I took it off for the picture.
  9. So this is the second issue i have with building my rig.So in short my pc posted just fine in my kitchen where i built it then i moved it to my livingroom to hook it up to my main setup.I hooked it up to the setup I pressed the power button and the pc turned on for a split sec and then turned off, just to turn on again 3 secs later. Oh and this keeped on happening till i turned it off via the lil switch on the back of the PSU.Any advice?Specs:I7 4790k Mobo-z87kGtx 10606gb8GB RAM PSU- FSP HYPER 600W I am aware of the BIOS update but the system wont boot. The fans start spinning for a split second and then they stop for 4 seconds and then they start spinning again. There is no video output. I have tried cleaning cmos and the single ram stick thingy. The same thing happens with a Pentium g3220 so i know its not a cpu issue. I also have only the keyboard connected. EDIT: I also have a SSD connected to the mobo. I have tried to boot the system with and without the SSD.
  10. I just checked for burn marks and there weren't any and i also rewired it twice but the result turned out to be the same. I guess the mobo is faulty
  11. Thanks for all the quick responses. Ill make sure to try all of em'. But if the pc is shorting somewhere is this like fixible or is it permanent damage to a part.

  13. Thanks a lot guys i might go for the intel i7 4790k because of the higher base clock. PS: Thanks Streetguru for the list of parts, but i would prefer sticking with team blue since i am not going to be upgrading later in the future.
  14. So i bought a gtx 1060 a while ago and a xeon x3440. The xeon x3440 is a bottleneck to my GPU tho. So I am wondering what CPU should i buy to pair with the gtx 1060. Here's the catch tho: I dont want to buy new DDR4 RAM for my CPU(It's expensive as hell), I want to stick with my 8GBs of DDR3 RAM. My budget is 230£. Any anwsers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. -Ivo
