  1. Well idk but i have a 5 years old HDD 1tb toshiba and i dont have any 500ms sectors and it was used has hell!
  2. Hi everyone, so i just bought a brand new hard drive at Bestbuy a Seagate 2TB 7200rpm 3.5'' internal drive, and was having hickups in frames while gaming when loading textures! so i tried a butterfly scan on HDD scan and saw after not even 3 seconds that i had 500 ms slow sector and a lot of 150ms and 3856 of 50 ms and was wondering if its normal or should i bring it back ? keep in mind that i only scaned it for like 1 min.
  3. Thank you ill keep you guys up to date when ill switch the psu
  4. Okay so like i said i re-install windows (Fresh copy) 2 times and always disabling vsync but i just did a test with timespy the non 4k version with Direct 12 and afterburner open in background and while doing the benchmark im still hitting 75-95 % usage but when it drops to 75% look what i see (see picture) Keep in mind it's not even overclock right now! so it's the powersupply that's probably faulty right ?
  5. nope it dosen't it's set on disable!
  6. Sorry it was my error on the post im on windows 10 64bits latest version don't know why i wrote win 7
  7. Hi , I got this problem where my GPU usage is very low like 30 to 60% max on ALL GAMES and sometimes it stop's my frame to go up like Outlast 2 get 60 fps max no VSYNC and Gpu usage at 30% on 4k,1440p,1080p sometimes it gets to 70-80% on high graphical intensive scene but dosen't stay there very long. And i tried everything update drivers revert the drivers for the gpu back but dosen't work with RTX and last windows version, re install windows , re install (GPU,RAM etc), reverting to stock speed no xmp, energie profile in windows AND Nvidia set to maximum performence, uninstall Graphic Driver With DDU and re install back without Geforce experience, overclock my cpu to make sure its not a bottleneck and nothing is working. So im thinking its maybe the ram since its a 3200MHz Corsair 16Go 2x8Go CS16 CMW16GX4M2C3200C16 and the cpu usage is like 30 to 40 sometimes 50% no real indication of a bottleneck or is it my PSU ? ''Have to mention everything is brand new from last month'' and got a lot of fans and cooling solution in there so like i don't know what to do from there need help so bad ! 8. So okay i bought a new heatsink and place it with a new thermal paste but i have the same problem even in bios its at 39 but as soon as i plug a usb stick it spikes up to 49 thant drop back instantaniously.
  9. okay so now i bough a Asus Z270-A Prime and ive got overheating cpu problemes , i had to disable turbo boost to at least use the pc . Evrything is fine its only the cpu that has the probleme without turbo boost im sitting around 40c idle, but it jump up and down between 40 and 70c and as soon as a program lunch i can go to 78c to 81c and half a second after that im at 40c even when i just plug a usb i can go too 80c using ada 64 stress test and prime 95 it can goo to 94c and in the bios im at 45c than when i plug a usb stick core voltage drops and i go to 57c with a little lag and i use a Hyper Evo 212 on my cpu, and when i have turbo boost activated i can get too 100c , all that with a new application of my thermal paste . Could it be a bad PSU or CPU ? it generaly core 1 who gets hotter!
