To replace the 14mm thick Original of the NH-L9i.
    Because 2ay more airflow.
PLS do NOT use that PSU. Its garbage.
On the Market since 2010, no protection and just overpriced crap.
Sadly your shop doesn't seem to have something decent for a good price.
    Any other options?

    Good units:
    Bitfenix Formula, Whisper M
    be quiet Straight Power 11

    OKish:
be quiet Pure Power 10/11 (400W and up)
    System Power 9

If you have to order at that store, the Seasonic Focus seems the best option and is hardly any more than the S12II shit...

ANd personally I'm not a fan of AIO Water Coolers because they cause more problems than a normal heatpipe heatsink...
I'd save the 50€ for the Heatsink and get another Stick of Memory and a good PSU instead.

The AMD Heatsink is fine (and also made by Cooler Master, probably), so you just have to look for the Boxed AMD Version...
On my 2400G I will probably use the Boxed or at least try it.

And I'd recommend getting a 25mm thick Noctua Fan as well and use that if it fits.
IIRC the NH-L9i is 40mm, with 25mm fan its somewhere around 50-55mm And the Airflow of the 25mm fan is way better.

    I'd get the PC anyday...

PC is mostly 60fps while consoles are still mostly 30fps.
and yeah, its noticable, not all do but many.

I had the same debate 2 weeks ago, 2600 or 1700x. For only $10 more, I chose the 1700x. I'm running OC 3.9G @ 1.2375Vcore. But my max temp is kind of high due to bad cooling. Once new fans arrive, I expect to go to 4, maybe 4.1ghz if I'm lucky.
Still not disappointed...1725 in cinebench, 8hrs Prime95 small fft testing, no crashing.

    MSI Tomahawk B450, TridentZ 3200 16-18-18-36 2x8gb.

I chose the 1700x due to video and photo editing. If you'll only be gaming and web surfing, the 2600 should suffice quite nicely.

As a side note, I briefly ran 4ghz @ 1.35Vcore and ran Cinebench quickly before temps had a chance to get too high. 3.9ghz vs 4ghz was only a 45-50 point difference. But I didn't do much to adjust settings other than voltage. I suspect I might be able to hit 1800 with good settings and a lot of luck. So I don't think 4ghz would be very beneficial, or even noticeable, over 3.9ghz on a 1700x.

Ye u made a good point here.
I don´t have friends to play online, just a friend who plays some games with me like Horizon 4.

That friend told me to go to PC and wait for the PS5 since Sony is going to release some in the next 2 years. Maybe u are right... I mean... I can play most games and ye a GTX 1070Ti will play every game at more then 60 FPS at 1080p thats for sure...

I have a PS4 (not a pro) (both gamer and console jk) and after sony comes out with the next console, I'm personally switching to PC. Now, this is mainly coming from a guy who's going to be married soon and I mostly like campaign only games. On PC you'll keep games longer than a console, but if you're focus is gaming online with friends, chances are, they have a console as well over PC and I'd probably choose that instead. idk just my thoughts.

There will always be something a little bit better out there. Unless you're a billionaire, that's a reality you have to accept. Be happy with what you have, instead of constantly throwing away money for a nominal improvement.

despite what intel fanboys say amd is a pretty good cpu, I would prefer intel but amd is a good price to performance processor

You found a motherboard and the i5 for 200 euros? Anyways the answer is no.

I agree with the others. Since you already bought your Ryzen, just stick with it and overclock it to the best of your ability. Although the numbers of FPS will be lower, it would be pretty difficult for you to tell the difference if you were to have an i5 8600, since the frames would already be pretty high for both.

I just happened to see it on the right side-bar when you posted it, lol.

More directly, there's almost no games that could tease out the subtle difference between the two CPUs on a 1070. And you'd be better served selling the 1070 and buying a 1080 for the cost difference.

Why on earth would you do that for maybe 10-15% more performance in a few games? Not to mention the loss in multi-threaded performance

Is your display even 144hz? or is it just a 1080p 60hz display?

probably just OC your 2600 to about 4.2ghz and call it a day
