  1. You sound similar to me hahaha. I started the RMA process with Thermaltake for a new side panel. I discovered some other marks on the top panel, but I suppose a 50 pound case will never be perfect out of the box.
  2. The case has all glass side panels, but the right and back sides are against a wall. I just want to clean up the main compartment a little.
  3. Thank you! I replaced it and now everything is good. I might work on cable management a little more, but after replacing the mobo I think I am done messing with it for a while.
  4. You are right, I filed for a return to amazon and a new one will be here tomorrow. I couldn't take it, so I am just going to fix it. I need to be extremely careful so I don't make the same mistake, otherwise Amazon may ban me from their service
  5. Luckily Amazon seems pretty relaxed on returns and they don't require a long description to take the item back. Screw hole paint stripping doesn't bother me either, there is no way to avoid it. I've had one experience with an NZXT Case and it was the easiest case I've owned to scratch, so it's in my closet now. I guess I just need to be more careful. I wish I was this way, as it would probably save me money and stress over small dings and scratches. I suppose aesthetics would've been a better word Hopefully it is something I will grow out of as well. I do auto detailing as a hobby, so I have grown accustomed to looking for scratches and other damage. I think the attention to detail on cars has carried over to everything I own. I am not as crazy about other things, only with these new parts of mine. Maybe on my next build I will go with a more minimalist setup like yours to save myself from the hassle. I'm glad I am not the only one. I am still considering buying a new board and sending back my old one. I have also contacted Thermaltake about the side panel. I have 30 days to make my decision based on Amazon's return policy. The only thing stopping me is the fact I'll be missing $185 from my wallet for a week or two as Amazon processes my refund.
  6. Hey everyone! I recently finished building my new PC after using the same system for a couple years. I love the performance upgrade, but there’s a few things bugging me. One, my tempered glass side panel seems to have a few scratches in it near the front. Two, when installing the motherboard, I accidentally scuffed the IO shroud on the corner of the exhaust fan. Lastly, I was removing a piece of cling film from my mono, and I couldn’t get my finger under it to peel it. I ended up scraping away at the edge of the surface I was trying to remove it from, and also began to peel what I believe is clear coat. Anyway, each of these are minor cosmetic imperfections that only I know about, and are hardly noticeable to anyone else. It’s driving me crazy though, to the point where I considered returing the items to amazon and re-building the system. After all, it was a costly purchase and I want it to be perfect. Many people would probably view this as crazy though ? I am curious if other people are as OCD about cosmetics as I am, and I would just like to hear some other people’s thoughts. I apologize if this is in the wrong section, this is my first time posting here. Thanks guys!
