Hi i have Hp Spectre x360 laptop and i was using it 3 hours ago and it showed 20% battery and then it turned off after sometime i thought the battery died so after sometime i plugged it back in and when charging light turned white i tried to turn it on and it stayed off. So i unplugged charger and held power button for 30 secs and then pressed power button again and this time the power button light up but laptop still stayed off. I cannot hear CPU fan or HDD sound and Disk activity light is also off. the power button stays light up but nothing else happens.

So i ran furmark with 4k preset and on gpu z it showed max Gpu wattage to be 259W which is 103% tdp and everything ran fine i even ran 3d marks benchmarks time spy and firestrike. No issues so far

Hi i got a Zotac Gtx 1070 Amp Extreme and i have Cooler Master 500w silentpro PSU now (http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/power-supplies-by-series/silent-pro-m500/) I know it's kinda old but i don't have money now to change the PSU right away i have been running the card on that for some time and it was running fine. But the thing that got me curious is that power supply has 2 6pin ports and the connecting wires it has 8 pin on the other side so is it safe to use it? Technically PSU has 2 6pin ports which are being converted to 8pin through cable that came with power supply.

I got Zotac Amp Extreme Gtx 1070 (that 1070ti was not worth the money condition wise) and it is working fine and im hitting 60+fps on 1080p with supersampling(2k to 4k) in some games at Ultra. Bottleneck is not that much issue on this level (or i cannot see it properly) and performance is Night and Day vs that R7 250.

True and I'm very thankful to you guys for lighting quick response. I posted on Tom hardware and only got 4 responses. Will get 1070ti and try to go for new ryzen if it lands in my budget. Because Intel is just money grab.

but i cant play games now thats the whole point in upgrading and i dont want to re-purchase GPU in coming Years. Want to focus on rest of the system
