For laptop i still choose a bluetooth keyboard, less complications.

'Veer' sounds like an Indian name, taking a chance.

Get this if you can, it's the lowest I would go in terms of new parts.

In that case you'll want to find something that is PC3L-12800 1600Mhz DDR3L 11-11-11-28 like this:

No, you need another DDR3 memory.

You will need a ddr3 stick as ddr3 and 4 are not compatible. Mixing capacities and speeds is not recommended but should work, both sticks will run at the speed of the slower stick though.

    Good luck!

Download CPU-Z, navigate to the memory and SPD tabs.

Buy a DDR3 module that matches as closely as possible the numbers that you find there to ensure compatibility.

Post screen shots if you need help.

Correct, DDR4 will not physically fit in the slot.

No, the imc can't work with it and you sadly can't even install them in the first place.

Here's a comparison with some images:

    https://laptoping.com/ddr3-and-ddr4-laptop-memory-compatible-no.html

E.g. a DDR3 SO-DIMM module has 204 pins, while a DDR4 SO-DIMM module has 260 pins. The notch is also in a different place to prevent you from inserting the wrong RAM by accident. They also use different voltages.

This page lists some memory modules that are compatible with your machine:

No. DDR3 and DDR4 are not compatible. A system that uses DDR3 memory can't use DDR4 memory. They are not interchangeable.

Ryzen benefits from dual channel memory. So, I have added 2 8gb sticks of ram.

You can reuse your case to save money.

In my opinion, getting a 500gb SSD would be a better choice. The overall system will be much more snappier and the load times will be pretty less. Also, a hard drive can be added later on.

You can get a rx580 for around Rs.7000 on AliExpress. Also, AliExpress has Ryzen 5 2600 listed for around Rs.8000.

I purchase most of  my stuff from AliExpress. I have purchased many graphics cards from AliExpress.

The watermark does not get overlay on fullscreen applications meaning it will not trouble you during game.

Having that in mind just using Windows 10 without the license is the best way to go.

i haven't overclocked but it might be the PSU it is the only part that i have not upgraded. I had not thought about that.

if you want the best performance out of any computer, laptop or not, you will want to choose high performance, or even ultimate performance if u choose to unlock that hidden profile. i understand your laptop cpu gets warm when u turn on high performance BUT that doesn't mean you're NOT SUPPOSED to do that on laptops. just because whoever made the laptop put such a trash cooling system in it (i bet they didnt even put the right amount of cooling paste on the cpu) that it won't even handle switching to the high performance plan is just garbage manufacturing. the thermal paste on the cpu could have just went away over time as well.

think about it, they make gaming laptops right? u think those laptops power plans are set to balanced? fuck no. why? because they actually have cooling systems for the cpu etc in them that aren't pure trash

your cooling system is the problem. changing a setting within an operating system unless its literally overclocking (and changing the power plan to high performance is nowhere near overclocking) should not cause something to get to dangerously hot levels. take that thing in or take it apart yourself and tell them to make the cooling system not trash in it. from what it sounds like re applying some thermal paste could fix your issue but the cpu fan sounds poopy too.

i'm not trying to be rude, but if i couldnt change my power plan from balanced to high performance without my laptop overheating, someone would be answering questions really fast and if i wasn't hearing what i wanted to hear someone would be in a world of shit.

those "good reviews" you speak of.....are just laughable to me. just because people are on a camera talking about something or posting it as an article online doesn't mean they know anything. .here's proof. go do what i told you to do. then change your power plan to high performance and make sure your processor throttling is off. proper cooling will cause the computer to never throttle or downclock due to heat (which is what you're experiencing.) i promise your experience with your laptop will be eons better and then you'll wipe your ass with the balanced power plan. they say things like that so grandma doesnt burn her cow thighs when she's watching the food network while playing solitaire.

i might sound like a jerk and i'm sorry, but it pains me to see people misusing or not being able to take full advantage of their technology because of what one person said or something they've heard through the grapevine that perhaps worried them. your cooling system on your cpu is definitely preventing a performance boost.

you said your dad had windows 10 before then he went back to 8.1? did u just roll back to 8.1? was this a fresh reformat? so many things could be causing this issue lol. going from a more bloated windows 10 to a less bloated 8.1 shouldnt cause a downgrade in performance either. weird stuff

    Regardless, here's a few things you really need to do;
A better PSU; the CX 450 costs only 3500 rupees, and is way better than that VS stuff you've got going on there. Upgrade your motherboard to the Aorus B450 Elite WiFi, it'll save you ~2000 rupees on getting a wifi card. Get dual-channel memory (2x8GB kit). Drop the cooler, the stock cooler is pretty good. ... and stay away from Amazon. It's got atrocious prices on parts, and buying though online retailers like TheITDepot or MDComputers will significantly reduce the cost of your build (they're alright, I've bought from then countess times). Also, how about switching to a RX 580? You can get one for around 19000 rupees (lowest price), unlike the GTX 1060 6G which goes for 22000 rupees (lowest price). The performance is pretty much the same, and you can save a few buck this way.
