  1. I decided to go with the 2070 because here in the UK the 2070 and the 1080 are pretty much the same price. I just thought I might as well go with the card with the latest architecture and will have longer driver support in the future. I'm not a huge fan of buying used cards I don't know why.   2. Hi I've got a ASUS VG248QE. It doesn't have freesync or G-Sync.
  3. Hi I am a bit of a begginer when it comes to pc parts so don't kill me lol. Basically I am currently using an R5 1600x with a GTX 970 at 1080p on a 144hz monitor. The card is just not performing well anymore and I want to upgrade the card. I am just worried that if I put all the money into a RTX 2070 it will be bottlenecked by the CPU at 1080p. I know that the 2070 is a bit overkill for the resolution I am playing at but its the same price as a GTX 1080 so I thought I would just go for the 2070. I only have the money for the new card so upgrading the monitor or CPU isn't really in the picture. Thanks.
