  1. Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 2-3 hours a day (not professionally): Lightroom + Photoshop for the most part. DaVinci resolve (free version). Sometimes I use Blender and casual gaming in between. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have a i5 7500 currently, which is too slow specially in export/renderning and other CPU intensive tasks. I have already looked up that Ryzen 5000 series is my best option. But the question is: Which one should i get? There is a 260€ difference between the R5 5600X and R9 5900X and R7 5800X is right in the middle. Which of these would be the better option for my use case. I don't like to wait too long on the PC to perform it's task - but don't want to buy something overkill ither. The Ryzen 5 looks to be quite close looking at the scores from the benchmarks so is it even worth jumping to the R7/R9? I will be having at least 16gb ram (might upgrade to 32gb).pic_disp.jfif
  2. I am upgrading memory and saw a good deal on a 16gb 3200mhz kit. I have this motherboard: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-B250M-PLUS/ whit i5 7500 cpu and it says supprot for 2400 mhz memory which i have now. What will happen if I insert the 3200 mhz sticks? Will it clock down to 2400 and work fine? 3. I got a orange corsair vs 650. I will be upgrading gpu to gtx 1060 6gb or 1070 soon from a gtx 1050 ti, cpu: i5 7500 3.8ghz. Upgrade psu or not, and to which one?
  4. I have a i5 7500 and i'm looking for a new gpu for it, currently got a gtx 1050 ti, how powerful gpu can i pair whit the cpu without getting too much bottleneck
  5. What is the best CPU for GTX 1080? Booth from Intel and AMD
  6. Hello, I am asking if my gaming PC will do 1080p 100+ fps ultra settings if i would upgrade GPU to a gtx 1070 ti and 16 gb ram? I mostly play games like overwatch and world of tanks. My CPU is the i5 7500 3.8 ghz.
  7. So I got a few questions. 1. I am going to upgrade very soon to a GTX 1070 Ti or a 1080. But I'm wondering one thing if rest of my setup is fine for the new gpu. This is what i got now: GPU: gtx 1050ti CPU: i5 7500 3.8ghz RAM: 1x 8gb 2400mhz PSU: Corsair VS650. This is the one that most worries me if it will die/explode when I plug in the new GPU because i know its a bad unit, and its right now 4 years of age. If i need to upgrade it too, please suggest me a good unit that will last for longer. 2. When I have the gpu and i am ready to plug it in is there anything I need to do before that. I red that you need to delete old drivers if you change from nvidia to amd but how about nvidia to nvidia?
