  1. It's so different from the other Zelda games. Its combination of top-down overworld and side scrolling elements is just confusing. The villages with people talking makes no sense. The enemies aren't that difficult. The dungeons are easy. Am I the only one who hates this game?

Post Your Battle Stations and Build Setups!

I was going to say something asinine like "Nice PC for emulating Super Mario World." It turns out it's a real SNES.

    2070 DOA + RMA blocker

Do you have another motherboard to test it on? Sometimes it helps to test it in another PC. If it's still faulty then the card is probably defective and needs replacing.

    2070 DOA + RMA blocker

This should be a no-brainer, but did you connect the 6-pin and 8-pin PCI-E power to the RTX 2070? Also can your PSU handle it?

    1070 future-proof?

If you look at benchmarks, the RTX 2060 is comparable to the GTX 1080. You can find one for about $350 and it is brand new.

    1070 future-proof?

You can't future proof a graphics card. Newer and faster graphics cards are always being released. Just buy what you need, in this case a card capable of 1080p gaming.

I'm using a Logisys PSU in a retro PC.

    1070 future-proof?

I use a GTX 1070 for 1080p gaming on a TV. It'll play most games at highest/ultra settings at 60 fps (vsync on) without a problem. FFXV still runs like hot garbage.

    Scrapyard wars

Here is an idea for a Scrapyard Wars, build a retro PC and make the rules it can't be a Pentium 4 or greater.

Windows 7 SP1 vs Windows 10 for older hardware

Windows 7 end of life (EOL) is less than a year away if you're planning on switching. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsforbusiness/end-of-windows-7-support I'm not seeing the CPU spikes like that Youtuber is talking about. I closed most everything non-essential in my system tray, opened task manager, and I'm sitting at 1-2% CPU usage after 1 minute. Windows 10 is using 2.5 GB/16 GB of RAM with nothing open, so that's a thing.

    Two routers one network?

Yeah, the second router you just disable the DHCP server and connect it to the first router on any port. That way the second router can exist on the same network as the first router.
