  2. If you were really hardcore you could buy one of those 4-pin molex to 8-pin EPS 12V connectors, cut the wires, and solder it to the PSU 8-pin EPS connector (after cutting off the broken one.) You just want to make sure to get the pinout right or it could fry your PSU.
  3. Lot of good games in this bundle: LBA 1 & 2, Raptor: Call of the Shadows, Double Dragon Trilogy. All redeemable on Steam. You would be crazy not to pick this up for this price. https://www.fanatical.com/en/bundle/dotemu-classics-bundle

I used OpenBSD before wireless routers were a thing.

Should I upgrade from my 980 ti?

Artifacting could mean it's overheating. Have you tried dusting out the cooler or reapplying thermal paste?

    Good Streaming GPU

It looks like you just need a better graphics card, but otherwise nice specs.

Which Is The GPU To put in this old PC?

I have a GT 710 512MB in one of my HTPCs. It's not that great of a card. It's fine for watching Youtube at 1080p, but it's horrible at 3D gaming. The R7 240 is probably good for you.
  9. Here is the difference between an 8-pin GPU power and 8-pin CPU power, just FYI:
  10. Yes, as long as it is a EPS connector you are fine. Older motherboards just needed 4-pin CPU power, but EPS is for newer motherboards that have 8-pin CPU power.
  11. No, that eBay listing says it is for an 8-pin PCI-E graphics connector, not 8-pin 12V EPS CPU connector. The pinout is different. You need something like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/4-pin-Molex-to-8-PIN-EPS12V-Connector-PC-Converter-Adapter-Cable-by-Battleborn/321221686932

No, it's not. I can't find it for sale anywhere. I think it is fake. That or they never released it (no market for it.) Good luck finding one. From that site:

  17. I swear by those HDMI switchers, but eBay has them for under $10. Even in AUS that HDMI switcher is overpriced. https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Port-1080p-HDMI-Switch-Switcher-Selector-Splitter-Hub-with-IR-Remote-for-HDTV/292798737685 5-port 4K HDMI switcher with remote for $10 with free shipping: https://www.ebay.com/itm/UHD-5-Port-HDMI-Switch-Box-Splitter-4K-3D-1080P-IR-Remote-Control-Selector-Hub/112478858304

    Possibility of motherboard failure ?

Easiest way to troubleshoot PC problems is to test only CPU and memory. If the computer turns on, install a video card or use integrated graphics to test it. Also check your power cables your motherboard should have one 24-pin ATX power connector and two 4-pin power connectors.

You don't play Dota for the music... at least I don't. I have the in-game music set to 0 and listen to my own music.

    Tempermental Xbone contnroller (PC)

It's because there is a difference in micro USB cables. You need a Micro USB type B data/sync cable to use the Xbox One controller on the PC.
