He used to use the Razor Blade Stealth but I think he switched that to some LG model but I don't know whether he still uses that.

NeuesTestament reacted to BondiBlue in iOS Wi-Fi vulnerability leaves devices without Wi-Fi functionality
Note: Please do not try this yourself. If you do please know that you are doing so at your own risk, and it's up to you to deal with whatever happens to your device. I'm not responsible, the forum staff aren't responsible, and nobody else is responsible.

    Summary
Using a specially named Wi-Fi SSID it is possible to disable Wi-Fi functionality of all nearby iPhones. The problem can't be fixed by resetting network settings, requiring the user to reset the entire device.

When iOS devices (iPhones have been used for testing) find a Wi-Fi network with the SSID of '%secretclub%power' they'll lose Wi-Fi functionality entirely. Wi-Fi can't be turned on, and features that use it can't be accessed. The device does not need to connect to the network; it simply needs to be in range. A hard reset seems to be required to fix the devices, so users would have to use cellular data or USB to backup their data.

    My thoughts
This is definitely something that needs to be addressed. Most users simply leave Wi-Fi turned on even when they're not using it, so lots of people could be affected without warning. It's especially worrying given how easy this is to exploit.

Edit: Apparently this may not be an issue if your device doesn't connect to the Wi-Fi network. I don't have any spare iOS devices to test it with right now, but hopefully there will be some clarification soon.

You think the CCP is doing this because they are concerned about their citizens? Hahaha it's the opposite. They can't get the data so they need to put it on hold until they can get what they want. The CCP is not your friends

Back in early 2018 LTT released a video NCIX Bankruptcy Auction - Day 2 FINALE. In that video Linus attempts to purchase his old silver play button, but it is then instead bought by a kid with a YT channel called MindChop. On the MindChop channel, his last video from 3 years back is filled with hateful comments from LTT community saying stuff like "Give linus his play button back" and "You bought your subscribers" etc. He hasn't posted since.

You can find a few good examples on YouTube, like this one:

The short answer is that a good mirrorless or DSLR camera will clobber even the best smartphone cameras, simply because they have larger sensors and lenses that you can't fit into a phone.  However, the gap between the two has closed considerably over the years, and sometimes the difference between the phone and a big camera is relatively small.

Or you can buy a Pixel device. You pretty much know you will get every update every time. The support is just not as long as on iPhone (3 years, versus iphone's 5(+) years).
