  1. The mic I was looking at is the Rode NT-USB, but If anyone thinks they can find me something better that's under 200$ i'd love to check it out. https://www.amazon.com/Rode-NT-USB-USB-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B00KQPGRRE/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=Rode+NT-USB&qid=1555840962&s=gateway&sr=8-2 Now I'm not sure what Mic Arm to get since this is my first time buying a standalone mic, but the 2 I looked at seem promising. https://www.amazon.com/InnoGear-Sturdier-Microphone-Suspension-Adjustable/dp/B07DHLSTLV/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=mic+arm&qid=1555841462&s=gateway&sr=8-6 https://www.amazon.com/Knox-Boom-Microphone-Stand-Broadcasting/dp/B07D7HS752/ref=pd_ybh_a_5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=CFY6GVZH0EK83R0KVHVK I hope posting amazon links is no problem. It makes it a lot easier to show what im looking at.
  2. I just built a new PC barely a week ago. I just woke up this morning, turned my PC on and my 2080’s fan speeds are instantly at 100%. My monitors aren’t getting any signal at all. The RGB on my card works normally. I have the 2080 Aorus matched with a Z390 Aorus Ultra
  3. I plan on building a PC at microcenter. I dont need a warranty for any of the cheaper stuff (like the cooler, ram, case, PSU) since I can easily replace those np. Im worried about relying on the manufacturers warranty for my GPU, CPU, and MOBO since they cost the most. I plan on building a 9900k/z390 Aorus/ 2080. The most I travel with it would be 10-15 mins down the road to a buddies so the PC wont be moving very much. I've had my old PC (4690k/z97/1070) for 3-4 years now and I've never had a problem that ever needed a warranty. Buuuuut with this new PC, obviously im spending a pretty penny for a good build and want to make sure i'm protected. The reason im going to buy my parts at microcenter is because its only 30 mins away from me, and id be able to start gaming that same day instead of waiting a week for all my parts to come in. (if anyone needs to know lol) i hope im posting this in the right place.
  4. If i were to record my gameplay would it be a good storage device for the raw footage? (until i render/compress it of course)

Thoughts? I want full RGB and a overclockable cpu/gpu even if its just a little. I have more storage but i wanted the m.2 for games. also i wanted to just go straight to my local microcenter and buy the parts on the spot, is that a bad idea? i'm a little impatient to wait for deals,
  6. The headset has only 1 jack and i'm forced to use the splitter it came with for my PC. I assume the power is being split 50/50 because of the splitter. This makes me have a faint static/white noise sound whenever I talk, I still sound fine but you can definitely hear it. Also I have my volume mixer/controller on the headset itself up to like 90% just to be able to have it loud enough for my gaming needs. Something I liked about my old headset (Turtle beach PX22's)... The headset was awesome because it had a 3rd audio channel specifically for Discord/Skype/Teamspeak/etc. I could even lower the volume or even mute discord in my OBS since it had that 3rd audio channel. Is there an AMP/mixer that could both power my headset and give me that 3rd audio channel so I can freely turn down my loud friends with just a knob whenever i'm in a sticky situation? This is re-posted since my last post didn't get a reply, I hope that isn't a problem.
  7. This is my current headset https://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/96eeada29d21f735/index.html Since it's only 1 jack I have to use the splitter it came with to be able to use both mic and sound. But I assume this also means splitting the power 50/50 through each jack. This makes me have a faint static/white noise sound whenever I talk, I still sound fine but you can definitely hear it. Also I have to have my volume mixer/controller on the headset itself up to like 90% just to be able to have it loud enough for my gaming needs. I know I need an amp or something along the lines of that, but i really dont know what im looking for. Also I have a question about my old headset (Turtle beach PX22's). The headset was awesome because it had a 3rd audio channel specifically for Discord/Skype/Teamspeak/etc. I could even lower the volume or even mute discord in my OBS since it had that 3rd audio channel. I loved being able to have the ability to do that. Is there an AMP/mixer that could both power my headset and give me that 3rd audio channel so I can freely turn down my loud friends with just a knob whenever i'm in a sticky situation? I'm sorry if this post gave you a headache to read lol. I never make these.
  8. Currently I have 2x4gb sticks of XMS3 Corsair ram. Both are at 1600 with XMP turned off. Would I be okay with matching it with these? https://www.amazon.com/Patriot-Viper-1600MHz-Channel-PV38G160C9K/dp/B008LTJJM2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1539879357&sr=8-4&keywords=Patriot+viper+3+DDr3
