  1. Can you choose which passwords you have cloud based and which you have saved locally? along with can you save, said local passwords, as and encrypted file that you can upload to your personal cloud for safe keeping?
  2. Hey, i think the could would be more secure than my PC realistically. It might be mroe prone to attack, but the levle of resistance they have would be far beyond that i could achieve domestically.
  3. Yes i had looked into them, i must admit they do look very good, i was just unsure as to if i wanted to follow cloud or offline storage really. I don't want to do both if i can help it, apart from maybe 1 or 2 super secure passwords that i want to keep separate. But overall the ease of being able to log in across multiple devices is the sellpoint for me, mobile and PC.
  4. Dashlane has U2F with fingerprint recognition? Also that Yubikey, what is this, you peaked my interest.
  5. Solid advice. Yes i had heard of KeePass and i also have looked into it. the ease of use is a real key factor to me, fundamentally i am not worried about paying for a cloud based service, because even if it does get breached you are paying for it so i mean, itll at least be harder by my logic and also a Commercial Customer provider contract will be in place when you have a paid service, Almost like a guarantee they will do a "better" job. Also the open source aspect, though it means you can SEE how good the software is and check its security, it does mean that if an exploit is found and not reported or adjusted it could be easier to be malicious with sensitive data you know. As i said i have narrowed it down to the two i stated above, even with the previous "data exploit" lasspass experienced. I was more looking for User experiences or issues. Solid advice though. Many thanks.
  6. As the Subject suggests I am in the market for a password manager. I have narrowed my options down to Dashlane and Lastpass, and I am here to ask for peoples experiences using these providers, some pros and cons or maybe just general ease of use or power of the tool. All advice regarding these two is appropriated! Many thanks all.
  7. God damn it you made me giggle. And that sounds perfect, thank you! Android support i suppose too.
  8. Yeah i found it, but i wonder if any of them use fingerprint as a 2 way Authy, like you put password then scan fingerprint, i mean that would be ideal no?
  9. But then you loose all them passwords, so its it just.... One password to rule them all?
  10. so i hear that password managers are actually really good and i should look into one. Im not really sure what ones are considered good, secure, ect. As far as i am aware though anything beats saving them to google or writing them down to be snapped up or lost. What companies provide a good password managing software and can be used cross platform between IOS, WIN and Android? Also how do you access the programme, is it a singular password, fingerprint, what? Just looking for input, Johnny 5 me please! ^ if you get that reference (without google), I appreciate you.
  11. its greyed out, how do i do that?
  12. Did that prior to trying out Wisper mode
  13. Even at full 6000RPM on both, its still overheating, its why im trying to reduce the load on my GPU as i dont need it to be trying to run games at 120 fps when im happy with 70 until it goes back to the Factory for repairs. If i restrict it in game to 60, its till Pinned and smoking hot Find my Cooling profile here of what i HAVE done so far to reduce it with no success at all, still pulling 90C most of the time
  14. Fully up to date, on all in device manager also.
  15. Does anyone know how this actually works, I have activated it in Geforce Experience, and also adjusted the setting in the global settings, but it seems to done a whole load of Jack-Sh*t To my computer or the supposed Frame Throttle ( i set it to 70fps and it still running at 90fps) WTH is the point of it if it wont even work! the reason i am even using the feature is because my laptop Sits at 95C under load so i wanted to cool it down, and it does nothing!! Any advice?
  16. Im trying to get Windows photo viewer to work as my default for all images. .png im having issues with. i have done Rightclick>Open with>windows photo viewer>Open.png with this app in future>Confirm Still nothing. I dont have MS-Store installed and cannot recover it either so cannot use the defult Photo viewer with windows 10. Please halp me!!
  17. I dont think it throttles no, but heat is the main cause of premature death of components so was curious, and bare in mind those temps are not even 50% load.
  18. So so so so so, I own a saucy MSI GE72mVR 7RG Laptop, beautiful piece of kit and its serving me well... for the most part. Since i purchase said laptop i have notice that the Temps have always been really damn high, im talking 48C idle and 95C Under Load. At first i thought this a huge mistake (never owned a powerful laptop) And i googled it and found on the Intel and Nvidia websites that CPUs and GPUs will operate stable up to 110C. So i was like "okay so maybe MSI just speced the temps up to that level as its under the Intel and NVID temp maxes." I later found from seeing videos of "normal laptops" that this is a GROSS Over heating problem, though its within perimeters of the Intel website, its not really Temps you want to see in your laptop as its cooking itself. I have also notice that the heat is causing my laptops screen to Literally come unglued and Warp upwards, if i close it before its cooled down (which i have RIP screen). To reduce the damage of the heat issues i have done the following to reduce temperatures: Undervolted CPU by 120mV Stable Underclocked GPU by 350Mhz core and 450Mhz Memory Now have it on Laptop stand with fan Have changed the powerplan to adaptive for Nvidia and maximum state of CPU in high performance to be 99% not 100 and Min of 50% after all of these "fixes" which for a laptop under 7 months old i think is ridiculous i have to do, i have managed to drop the temps to 90C under full extended load with minimal FPS loss. I am still salty that i even have to do this and one of my friends laptop (which is the same just 1050ti instead of 1070 (non MaxQ)) sometimes has gpu IDLEs of nothing as it turns off! and under load they would see maybe 60C on cpu and gpu. For a laptop that is the same design, same heat pipes and same overall volumetric flow rate i am befuddled as to how this is such an issue for me. Needless to say i am sending it off to MSI to have it looked at as the screen will need to be replaced as this is ridiculous, But my overall question is, Are these temps for my laptop TOO high?! Should they be lower out of the box or is this a common or normal Heat level?! Also if you have any other nifty tricks maybe a setting that deactivates my GPU when not in use that'd be nice. And no im not going to do a jank ass Linus Cooling solution! Thanks for reading and plz save my bacon! I dont like being able to cook my bacon on my laptop.
  19. Im getting Network Error 503 on App and Just Black YT on Desktop GG Google!
  20. though i feel that might be a ploy to reassure people
  21. Its coming back up apparently, it still is down for me thought might be false, probably is.
  22. Something has caused a world wide outage of youtube on at 01:18GMT No one knows cause but i am thinking it might be Google+ related maybe or a minecraft DDOS hacker.
