Sounds like undervolting is the way to go, which is pretty dissapointing for this new product haha. Or, I could go with the same approach from this video:

Yeah so as I just replied to SoreRatio, %68 fan speed and sitting at 83 degrees. Which is the limit which isn't heaps bad but not ideal. I might try replacing the thermal grease and undervolting a little and see if the framerate is okay. Thanks for the tip!

Nah its brand new, and I did check with afterburner. So its was running at 83 degrees after an extended session, and the fans were only sitting at %68, but I wouldn't have guessed that low given the noise!

Hey guys, new member here :) So I just bought this brand new graphics card, the Inno3D gtx 1080 x2 and boy is it loud. Much louder than my Asus turbo blower style 1060, like around twice as loud under load. Which makes me wonder if its just a cheap and nasty cooler (it was $150 cheaper than any other 1080 I could get new), or whether I got a special one that is extra loud! Anybody else got this card and have noise complaints? Thanks in advance x
