  1. I've bought the Phanteks Halos as well as the Cooler Master fan hub with argb. Unfortunately, I didn't expect that the cable of the halos are only 3 pin (without space on the 3rd) and the hub looks like the image below. Is there some kind of cable to convert the halos to fit the hub?
  2. The noise seems to be coming from the middle fan whenever it starts to spin. I tried to push it upward and it feels a little loose compared to the other two that feels intact. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's annoying sometimes specially when it's quiet InShot_20210205_042804517.mp4
  3. Is it normal for windows to check disk on a non-windows drive? Right now windows is fixing(?) my other harddrive and it's taking too long since it's 2tb and I'm afraid to restart/interrupt it. Before this happens, I encountered BSOD with error of "Unexpected Store Exception" I really thought this is happening because there's something wrong or my windows drive is failing.. shouldn't it be checking and fixing that one?
  4. I am upgrading from 16gb RAM (3200 CL16) to 64gb but I'm not sure which would perform well between these two: G.Skill 64gb (4 x 16gb) 3600 CL16 vs G.Skill 64gb (2 x 32gb) 3600 CL18 I've read some saying that using 4 ram would stress the memory controller and/or you wouldn't get the exact speed. I want to hear your thoughts on this to help me which one I should get Btw, I'm using Asus Crosshair 8 Wifi Mobo.
  5. So I managed to made my PC work when I encounter this issue... But right now, I'm facing another one when my PC (Win10) suddenly have bsod Critical Process Failed What happened before it was: 1. I tried to put my PC to Sleep but it doesn't work and it just restarting so... 2. I updated windows and drivers 3. The sleep function now works but my "Autodesk Maya" suddenly got stuck on loading and I've read that sometimes windows update is the culprit so... 4. I used system restore to revert back when I updated everything. 5. When it was successfull, I tried putting the PC to sleep again and that's it. I got BSOD Critical Process Failed I've tried Resetting it in Win RE but I'm getting "There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made" Also tried this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/4026030/how-to-use-windows-recovery-environment-winre-to-troubleshoot-common-s#:~:text=Start the system from the,%2C select Next > Command Prompt. but I'm stuck with sfc /scannow because I'm getting "Windows Recource protection could not perform the requested operation" tried system restore in WinRE, but it's not successfull. tried upgrading using the USB boot but unfornately, it only works when you have successfully logged into windows. I'm running out of options to try and I don't want to fresh reinstall windows and lose all my data in it Also, is it normal that the cmd directory showing in WinRE is X:\wndows\system32 ? even though my windows is installed in C ?
  6. yes i have gpu and i used hdmi cable instead of display cable. 1 ram is in slot 4 (A2)
  7. I recently upgraded my motherboard and cpu to Crosshair 8 Hero and Ryzen 3900x but unfortunately, it doesnt boot to bios. Everything is lighting up and all but there's no display.. the error showing in the led is "0d" and the DRAM light stays on. I tried using only 1 ram but its still the same. (currently updating bios using flashback when this posted) My ram is gskill ripjaws 5 3200. I've used it on my previous intel build and its working fine.
  8. Ohh!! Thank you! That small switch fix the issue. Felt so stupid lol
  9. I can't find it Btw, I have z170 pro gaming aura mobo, i5-6600k and Corsair RM850 PSU. I looked into the BIOS and it doesn't show any info of the gpu (even the name) but I can see it thru CPU-Z or HWMonitor. Even in BIOS mode and even when gpu driver is uninstalled, the fan keeps spinning. Is it defective or I'm missing something?
  10. I just upgraded from GTX 1060 to RTX 2070 Super (both Asus OC version) But I noticed that all fans keep on spinning even on Idle. I've already reinstalled drivers, disabled ShadowPlay and set Power management mode to Adaptive but nothing's happening. I've checked GPUTweakII and it seems that the temp is low but the gpu speed is at constant/max 1800. Can someone help me with this? I didn't experience this with my previous gpu :\
  11. Thanks both of you. It makes sense now. I tried capturing a zoomed scene outside using the normal 3:4 and 64mp mode and the latter looked much better with a bigger file size too.
  12. So I got the new S20 plus and tried the 64mp and zoomed it to max but I've noticed a very huge difference between the normal 3:4 ratio and 3:4 64MP . The 64MP looks bad :\ and the file size difference is also not that big (I assumed it would be big since it's 64mp). Is there some setting that I don't know to change this? I'm very new with this since I came from an outdated S7 where you can change the MP manually :D
  13. Thank you so much for your replies and suggestions. Can you guys give me exact unit/model to buy for the PSU aside from the FOCUS?? which can/might still be usuable in the future tech? Guess I'll need to drop the Maximus Hero XI, @Princess Luna thanks for pointing that out. Another question though regarding the cooler, I currently have Noctua NH-D15, should I upgrade that too? I'm not a fan of water cooling but you can suggest anything if it needs be.
  14. I'm planning to upgrade from i5-6600k, asus z170 pro gaming mobo and gtx 1060 to i9-9900k, maximus hero XI and rtx 2070. I'm wondering if my current PSU, which is Seasonic M12II 620w 80 plus bronze, will be enough?
