    Yay! I actually limit my game time these days 'cause of my wrist/elbow/what-have-you and high-maintenance people who would prefer to have my attention to herself. I mean, for CSGO, I'm LE with 40-50 wins. I don't play as much as I'd like.

    There was something about the CM Storm one that turned me off from it, I can't remember what right now... And did you mean the Mad Catz link when you referred to Roccat? Also, I didn't realize Madcatz was still in the PC game. I'll have to get one. It looks good.

    I wore a hat 'cause I haven't had a haircut in a couple of months and I wasn't planning to shoot the video that day (it was planned for later). =P Next time, I won't wear a hat.

    I actually grew up with mouse acceleration. I played TFC with acceleration, with ball mice, with trackball mice, and skill is just skill. So if acceleration does it for you, power to you. Here's a linky to some MouseTester graphs of the G303 @ 2500 cpi for you. The plot points look pretty consistent and this is on a very colourful Diablo 3 themed cloth pad. http://puu.sh/gnOWH/f3da9f7b5d.png I also tested it at 12,000 DPI and it was amazingly consistent too. Like, I was impressed when I looked at the graph especially since it kept up with tracking speed. So if you want to hit 12,000 DPI and lower your in-game sensitivity to match your preference, that'd work too.

    Thanks for the feedback (positive and negative), guys! In my tests in-game and out, I found no acceleration. If you're playing CSGO, I'd strongly advise you to use a much lower DPI so you can have finer control. The trade-off being a slower reaction to unexpected angles but your movement and game-sense should minimize that. Warowl and Steel have good tutorials on the topic.

    Thanks. I definitely have to practice and regrettably, I had to rush out this performance before having to leave early and I definitely wanted to do things differently immediately after watching myself on the timeline. I don't have much teleprompter experience and that's obvious. My public speaking has consisted of point form which I'm used to and more comfortable with (whether debating or just presenting) but Linus doesn't want me to do that so... Gotta learn the prompter. T_T SO I WILL IMPROVE IF THERE'S A NEXT TIME! =D

    Yeah, I don't like mouse reviews for the lack of depth or lack of actual numbers or data. But I'm also very picky about mice. =D

    Should try to use a heat gun or blow dryer to soften the adhesive before peeling. Might save the feet.

    The videos aren't "done" as in edited but they have been shot. So for part 3 I have to figure out the layout, watch through the footage (there's about 40 minutes for each side of just build and then there's all the benchmarking footage). I don't have anyone to log my footage as it comes in like a larger production would, I don't have a writer or producer to steer things in a semi-planned manner, besides there being a goal, the footage is pretty much random.

    What I did was get sound bites from the audience, cleaned some of them up, put them on top of each other, somewhat staggered but mostly sync'd around the "Whole room watercooling" part. To help with separation between the voices I put changed the L/R balance on them and added a highpass filter on probably half of them.

    I would hold off on the EVGA X5; it has firmware issues that causes it to backtrack when flicking. This is a huge issue and makes it unusable in games. Oops, forgot to mention that there is a firmware update aimed for "early next week" to fix it.

    So I've tried changing ram (sticks from another PC), taking battery out, I don't think this board requires plastic jumpers, and tried without a cpu installed. I think something must be shorting it but I don't know what. I'll try the USB thing but otherwise, I think that's it and I'll just have to wait for Linus for a different board. He'll be back tonight.
