Hello yall. considering upgrading my GPU, I have gotten loads of great feed back and advice on what to do with my current build, thanks again to the great community here on linustechtips. I was just looking at a couple cards for my rig, one of the EVGA is a 1080 ti 11gb priced at round $800, and the core clock speed is 1.56GHz and the boost is 1.67GHZ,
the other card is a Asus - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ROG STRIX which is priced at $540, but it's clock speed is core 1.67GHz and it's boost is 1.83GHz, so is this lower priced GPU stronger higher clock speeds running better graphics wise? the speeds are throwing me off, but I see the EVGA has 11GB and the Asus is 8Gb, is that the numbers i should be basing the performance on?
