Thanks. I was initially thinking of sending my case to get powder coated to white, but decided against it since the motherboard pcb is black as well. I'm just doing some minor "modifications" to the case itself, but the only thing I'm remotely going to be paint are some spare silver PCIe slot bracket covers I bought to matt black. The 900D's stock PCIe slot bracket covers have too many holes for my liking. (Stock Cover Image in Spoiler) [spoiler=]

To be honest, I have lost track of how much I've spent. Perhaps after I've completed the build. Till then...

Sorry to disappoint

got them before the 3.5gb saga was out and consumer protection law is weak here, distributors/re-sellers refuse to acknowledge the issue even tried asking for an exchange or top up to upgrade but was denied

Who do you think will win the Scrapyard wars?
sylarspock replied to IGetMoreAssThanAToiletSeat's topic in Off Topic
Luke should win theoretically, if it's purely gaming focused. However it would be interesting to find out how much of a bottle neck the processor(s) will cause. With processors being so much faster lately, we have almost completely ignored the idea of bottle-necking in the past 2 years. Both the E8400 and Q6600 were enthusiast favorites at their hay-day due to their overclock-ability, so it'll be interesting to see how they scale up now. -

bump up awesome ddr4 -
honestly for a business, not paying for the software is just plain bad practice. I would empathize with a small business struggling to do business, but Forever 21 is a huge business with hundreds of employees. No excuses here imo

not this again...

Agreed. Loved the cinmetaography discussion and Hobbits during Wan Show and this Definetly looking forward to more of such content. Cameras, Lens, difference in bit rates etc, also stuff like Video Effects/rendering (From edzel) etc

awesome. Looking forward for more Brandon and video-graphy related content.

IMO, I would have gone for the 980s instead of 970 SLI, if I knew about the RAM Limitations. Using a 3440x1440 and planning to upgrade to 4k soon, I can asssure you my no1 pet peeve while gaming is vram. So now I technically only get 3.5gb of fully functional vram and would probably have to upgrade a few months down the road when I go 4k.
