  1. Have you used this monitor ? How does the text look on it ? I'm concerned that the text will be pixelated as it's a 27in 1080p screen and I'll be sitting close to the monitor, at about an arm's distance.
  2. I'm looking for a 23-24 inch IPS 1080p monitor in the $150 - $200 range. I'll be using it for writing code, some Photoshop and illustrator work and watching movies, I'll be doing some light gaming like Fifa, etc but gaming features like 75hz and freesync are not a priority. I'll be connecting the monitor to a laptop using an HDMI cable. The laptop has a Nvidia 940mx and i7 7500U, I'll be working on Windows and Ubuntu. I want the monitor to have good and accurate colors. A matt screen is necessary since I can't control the amount of light in my room. I've narrowed down my choices to these monitors: 1. Dell P2419H 2. Dell S2419H 3. LG 24MP88HV, I'm a little hesitant about buying this one as I've heard about pixelation issues (in blue and yellow colors) and washed out colors in the 24MP59G. 4. ViewSonic VX2476-smhd 5. BenQ EW277HDR I'm leaning towards the P2419H as it has a fully adjustable stand and I've used the S2419h in the past and liked it's colors. Any other recommendations are also welcome.
  3. I'm planning on assembling a budget gaming PC for my little brother and am confused whether I should go for the R3 1300x or i3 8100, I don't plan on overclocking the CPU or the GPU (I don't think the motherboard I chose supports overclocking). Below is the list of components I'll be using (They're almost the same apart from the CPU and motherboard ). AMD Build - CPU - Ryzen R3 1300x Motherboard - Asus Prime A320M-K AM4 Graphics card - Asus GTX 1050ti Phoenix 4GB RAM - Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR4 LPX 2400MHz (Single Channel, I plan on expanding later) PSU - Gigabyte GP-PB500 500W Case - Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 3.1 mATX Intel Build - CPU - Intel i3 8100 Motherboard - Gigabyte H310M-H Graphics card - Asus GTX 1050ti Phoenix 4GB RAM - Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR4 LPX PSU - Gigabyte GP-PB500 500W Case - Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 3.1 mATX The primary use of this computer would be gaming (no streaming or photo, video editing of any sort). I'll also be buying the LG 24MP59G-P monitor. Any changes to this setup are welcome, as long as it doesn't exceed my budget. (Rs. 60,000 or 600$)
