  1. Hello, I recently got a 2TB Samsung M.2 which I'm running Windows on a WD Blue 1TB SSD M.2. Mainly the Samsung one is faster and has a larger capacity and so I tried cloning my windows to the 2tb one and it will not show up as a bootable drive. Anyways what's even more weird is that the windows partitions have made it's way on to my 500GB ssd I have for games. Should I just reinstall windows or is there another option I can do here to make it clone to the 2TB ssd? I'm currently trying to use Macrium for this.
  2. Hello, it would seem no matter what I do in terms of trying to make premiere pro not lag when hardware acceleration is on has been fruitless. I initially thought it was the cpu and spent quite a lot to upgrade from a 3700x to a 12700k and just bought new ram too that's still in shipping thinking it was that but now that I know it's only when hardware acceleration is on I'm understandably pissed that this software is running like this with a 3070ti in it. Even at 1/4 the quality it drops 5 frames every 15 seconds at ONLY 1080p 60 and 30 fps (different projects set to different fps's not variable). At this point I'm considering sailing the seas unless someone may have the answer to fix this because holly CRAP I'm so frustrated with this now.... Even on a ssd the footage lags as well... Specs 12700k 32 gb ddr4 3000mhz RTX 3070Ti OS Windows 10 on a ssd footage mainly on a 7200rpm drive
  3. 10,000kbs. Now I tried to improve image quality which is why I have it so high but if that really posses a threat in terms of making slow playback what would you recommend I have it at?
  4. Heyo! So my problem is when I try to have 2 videos playing at the same time in this scenario which lags Premiere a lot on playback even with lower the quality (1/4). I've had trouble with this a while ago with other footage too so could this be because of how my obs footage is being encoded (currently I use nvenc) or am I potentially bottlenecking my 3070 ti with a 3700x? My ram is only getting utilized 30% by Premiere as well. Specs CPU: 3700x clocked at 4.00 GPU: 3070 ti Ram: 4 slots of ddr4 8gb 3000hz Storage: 500gb ssd, 1tb ssd, 1tb nvme ssd, 2tb hdd, 6tb nas hdd.
  5. Hello, I've been having some strange issues with premiere pro where it will lag a lot when I'm using a basic transition between clips like cross fade for instance. It's a simple and smooth to get to the next clip however using it now feels more like a chore because I can't play it back while editing without it lagging the entire program. Now I thought it was because I undocked the clip manager to my other display but redocking still shows the same results. I decided to open task manager to see if something was being heavily utilized and I was suspecting the ram to be the culprit but in fact is the cpu spiking to about 80% usage on this single transition. Now my cpu is a R7 3700X oced to 4.20 ghz because anything higher makes my pc freeze up and I have FCLK set to something which I don't I don't know on the top of my head. Should I turn it off to see if it fixes it? I also have 32gb DDR4 at 2933 and a gtx 1070. I was using OBS with the new nvec encoder which I wasn't sure if that's exclusive to 20 and 30 series gpu's but I did a test where I used x264 and the nvec encoder on small clips and no issues transitioning between them. Any suggestions to help is greatly appreciated!
  6. Okay to explain my charger port broke on my note 9 and I wanna hold on to this phone because newer phones just aren't worth it. So I got a charger port from ebay which I just installed it and the mic doesn't work during calls and on discord I sound very distanced from the mic. I got new back glass too but I ended breaking my old one and new one prying off the back glass sadly when I realized something wasn't right. I did test it before putting the back glass on but it didn't help matters when it was reassembled. So I ordered the charger port from Ifix it this time (which prior I didn't know was possible, new back glass with plastic covering the adhesive because the other one didn't have new adhesive just the old that was oddly reusable, and a case both from ebay . Overall tho I'm just curious to why it didn't work and or how I could test the mic to make sure it doesn't work completely because it does charges with the usb c port now.
  7. How this starts is I was replacing the 10+ year thermal paste off of the PS3. This was my first time disassembling and reassembling of the console and I put 90% of it back together to make sure everything was working when I realized the disc drive wasn't working properly. Like it incerted and ejected games but not read them. So I tried to re attach the ribbon cable several times which I didn't realize the latch for the ribbon had been broken until it broke off completely. The one on the disc drive I was easily able to reconnect and disconnect it just not on the main board. My question then if I get a replacement how would I go about keeping the ribbon cable there? Oddly enough not having the disk drive prevents me from accessing homebrew apps like multi man to atleast backup my files.
  8. Sorry about that!! It was just a strange situational thing so I didn't what category it really fit into
  9. I see, No worries! At some point I'll attempt to record the sound but it's just a quiet sound my phone doesn't really pick it up at all
  10. It's only Nier Automata running in the background and it only makes the sound when there's input going on in the app which doesn't happen on the home dashboard. I don't have a HDD there's only the SSD the came with it
  11. I have the disc version. A game was in the console at the time but I did take it out and it still proceeded to make the noise. I also did have a digital game running in the background that was suspended. It's really hard to hear if you have other things like pc fans going so you may need to be closer to the console to hear the noise
  12. Depends. Are you doing just gaming or are doing heavier work load tasks like editing in premiere or messing with after effects? If it's gaming and light loads like streaming I'd recommend the 5-3600. Although you can run more demanding tasks with the 5-3600 you can also do some editing on it but for more advanced editing effects that are more demanding on the cpu I'd recommend a 7-3700x.
  13. Hello, I'm making this post because I'm somewhat concerned about my PS5. While I'm using the Crunchyroll just navigating the episode and seasons menu I hear something moving within the console. To me it sounds like the app is minorly controlling the fans with each input I do in the menu's. The noise I can't seem to pick up with my phone it's just strange that the app is making it do it. Another thing is if you put your ear up against the usb c port on the controller you can hear different frequencies depending what mute setting you have it in. Now I'm not too concerned with that but more so concerned if the app is controlling my fans or something that it shouldn't be doing because I think everyone knows how half assed Crunchyroll handles there tv streaming apps so I figured to say something just in case there is in fact an issue with it. Has anyone else experience something similar or weird like this with the PS5? I'm really curious now
  14. So I've talked about this issue before on here and have come across latencymon on which has detected the possible problem tho when I did disable throttling on my PC atleast to my knowledge it still micro freezes. I ran latencymon again and it gave me the same message! Any help is appreciated also sorry for the blurry image I tried to make it clear as I could. Specs: rysen 5 2600, gtx 1070 founders, 32 GB of 3000 vengeance ram, msi x470 gaming plus mb, and a 650w ps.
  15. Actually I just realized it was visual studio stuff which the file names just looked odd to me since they're just outin the opened they annoyed me so I'm gonna delete the rest of them and reinstall windows and never touch a file like that again lol
