WAN- wide area network this is for if you ran a cable from like your main router, modem etc...  to the wan port thus giving the device the ability to give other devices a network connection through the LAN ports.
LAN-Local area network is for if you like what you wanna do in your other post, run the cable from the repeater to the device (computer, Xbox, PlayStation, tv etc..) giving thus devive a wired connection, it is for your local devices.
Any more questions let me know!

    Thanks,

If i wanted to change sockets i would need a new motherboard which i don't think is necessary.

Looks like you dont need a necessarily a bigger, case, just on that better supports E-ATX motherboards.

    Some examples:
    Phanteks Enthoo Pro M TG
    Coolermaster H500
Lian Li PC-O11D Cannot fit the Dark Rock Pro 4 (thanks @meenmeen1103 for noticing)
    Corsair 400C

Give them a call, and you can either take two routes, Give them the honest truth over the phone and see what happens, or "accidently" leave out a few things and see what they'll do.

A grandmother came into the shop with her granddaughter getting her system checked out "B85 Vanguard system".
While I was did the software checks  "automatically" the grandmother started talking about her granddaughter........."her name is Kat /Katarina".
Then suddenly " you look like a nice young man"
"hardworking and do you have a girlfriend?!?"
"what do you think of Kat"
    "she's a nice girl too"
"how abou you kids go get a drink together"
In my head I was like "OMG, what am I to say??" I'm screwed
She was cute but I've never had a girlfriend before.
Thank God Kat went "GRANDMA?!?! STOP TRYING TO SET ME UP WITH GUYS"
And stompped out, I almost fucking died of fear at 2 weeks after I've reached my 16yr old
Kat came in to collect her gaming system from the shop and apologized about her grandmother, I just smiled didn't know what to say.

the accelero twin turbo i had on my 1050ti was VERY MUCH overkill but i wanted it to be, getting the mono would be what id reccomend as these arctic coolers are damn near silent ( and both are 200-250W TDP i think both are 250 actually), and if you want to spend like 2.5x the amount of a mono cooler get the watercooling bracket from NZXT and the cheap H55 cooler

you can check out all their product here:  https://www.arctic.ac/eu_en/products/cooling/vga.html

I have used the TwinTurbo III on my GTX 970 and it was wisper quiet and something like 10c cooler, i dont remember what the stock temps were but with that cooler it wouldnt go over 51C at any time which was awesome and i have also used the Xtreme IV on an R9 290 and thats been quite nice aswell although not as quiet and not as cool(as that card runns hot as hell lol). I had the first model of the S series on an 8800GT aswell and that was also pretty nice.

for you id recomend either the TwinTurbo or the Mono, they are both great picks for a lower heat output card and should do plenty for temperature
