  1. Ok, so here is how I came to this idea. I was watching a video from the "This Is" YouTube channel about how the M1 Macs are such a great option for basically everything besides gaming. My question was this: "What if there was ways you could game on a M1 MacBook?" Sure the CPU and GPU side of these machines wont be able to run a lot of AAA games natively at high FPS, but maybe services like GeForce Now or Game Pass could be the answer to that? I know there is the whole issue with latency but for those who want to have the option to play games and want the simplicity of a Mac, could it be a option? I'm curious if services like these could be what it takes to make Mac computers a one size fits all option.
  2. My case is a Lian Li TU150 ITX case and the PSU is a SFX-L form factor
  3. I am looking for custom Cables to use with my Silverstone SX-800W-LTI power supply. Iv heard some custom Cables can cause issues with some PSUs so I want to know of some that will be safe to use with it
  4. I'm looking to downsize my build to a ITX build but I want to keep my PSU. I am using a Phanteks Revolt Pro 850w PSU and want to find a smaller case for it. I travel with my PC (because of family and work) and am wanting to keep the size as small as possible but keep some items from my current build like the PSU, GPU, and so on. My current case is the NZXT H510 and Its just a pain to travel with it Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
  5. *Parts* CPU - Ryzen 5 3600 Mobo - MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus GPU - MSI Radeon-RX-5700-XT-MECH-OC Ram - CORSAIR - Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB 3200mhz Storage - 250gb Crucial SSD + 2TB Crucial SSD PSU - Thermaltake Smart 700w *All Stock Speeds/NO Overclock* *** So I built my new PC with all new parts and for some reason I cant get my GPU to work on the top PCIE X16 slot but it will work on the bottom PCIE X16 slot. When I try to boot the PC with the GPU in PCIE X16 slot 1 (top one) i get a VGA boot error on the motherboard. It will work fine when on the bottom slot but wont work on the top slot. I tried the GPU in a different PC and it worked fine on all slots. Is there something with the GPU and the motherboard compatibility that is causing the issue to happen or is it just a issue with the hardware itself?
  6. Thanks for the input. I am targeting 1080p 144hz gaming. A family friend is upgrading his monitor and letting me have his old on. Its a Asus 1080p 144hz monitor. I don't know the exact model but it is one of the ones that was certified for Nvidia 3D Vision. Most games I would be playing would be Destiny 2, Fallout 4, and possible VR later on when I upgrade. I am trying to figure out if the CPU would hold me back any in game performance because Ill have to wait a couple of months before I can get a Ryzen 2000 or 3000 series CPU. Should I just get a RTX 2060 TI instead and use that extra money for a better CPU?
  7. I am wanting to do a Ryzen build because I want to future-proof it for upgrades later on. My only concern is that the CPU I'm choosing will hold back the GPU. Below are the parts I tend to use as well as a PC Part Picker link. I hope someone can help me with this question because I cant seem to find a answer. 9. I have been looking at building a sleeper PC out of a old Compaq Presario DK216A 8000 series desktop. The only problem I'm having is finding a motherboard that will fit. The original motherboard was a AM37 board. I need help finding a board that will fit so I can go from there. Thanks in advance.
